  • Restarting. Hadn’t been on the app in so long I had to dust it off when I opened it. Updated my profile pic, joined a few groups, ready to start tracking and holding myself accountable again.
  • Great post! So true about the cursing and F bombs toward Jillian! Also the added costs for smaller pants, jeans, shirts, bras adds up plus the protein powder, heavier weights, Polar HRM... It all adds up and is now a necessity in my life!
  • Great job and you look fantastic! I am doing a mix of Insanity and Ripped in 30 for the next few months. I'm a month into it. I love the program and I feel great when I compete each workout. I hope to have good results like you! Keep up the great work!
  • On days where I'd do a Jillian DVD that uses weights as well as get a run in, I always do Jillian first and then run. I know I can give it my all during the strength training workout if I'm fresh.
  • Definitely measure! Scales are slow with showing your improvements and will just frustrate you! Don't let it. Just keep going, doing your JMBR and stick with your meal plan and measure. I think side by pics, even if only for you to view is very helpful. Some lose pounds quickly and others are slower. Like orher's have…
  • I agree- just drop to your knees, but make sure you have proper form while on knees. Then come back up and do more regular or one legged. Just try to push yourself with each workout, squeezing in a few more before you have to modify. You will get there and I think moving on is good. You can also try to squeeze in a few…
  • Polar FT40. It's a watch with chest strap. It does not have the Bluetooth. I think it was around $100 on Amazon. Only had it less than a month, but love it. I chose it because you can do your own VO2 test to be really accurate and enter that data in manually or go by the Fit test and let it figure the VO2 or "own cal"…
  • Good pasta, cheese, nachos, burritos. Last summer there was an insane coupon deal at Qdoba where if you bought a drink, you got a free entree. I ate at least 4 chicken queso burritos per week while guzzling down Dr Peppers. And my mashed potatoes from scratch (Heavy Cream, couple sticks of butter) all the good stuff! Oh…
  • Wow- sounds very unsupportive, but you can still succeed! Maybe you could offer to go buy the groceries and take on preparing meals a couple times a week. Maybe that would be a way for you to show how yummy healthy balanced meals can be. That way you could have more control over food choices. You could make tacos, have all…
  • Really impressive results and awesome support system with you both doing this TOGETHER! Great Job!
  • I eat back some but not all. Kinda depends how hungry I am on a particular day and what kid of workout I had. If I have a lot of calories burned from lots of activity, I'm more likely to eat some back since I know I have a little extra cushion and still have a deficit. I would feel like I'm working out for nothing if I ate…
  • I waited until I completed JMBR to begin Insanity. I think both together may be too much if you are doing them both full time. If you only did Insanity a couple times a week and JMBR 6 then I think you'd be fine. Now I'm doing Insanity 3 days a week and Ripped in 30 3 days a week.
  • Great progress! Keep it up!
  • Thanks! I'm 5'2. Sorry I should have included that in my post.
  • Thank you all for the nice words! It's kind of intimidating blasting lovely pics of my mommy belly for all to view. I really do love the program and will probably do a second round of JMBR after a few months of Insanity and Ripped in 30 combo that I'm going to begin Monday. I still have a lot of toning that I want to do,…
  • I have a Taylor Body Fat scale that calculates Body Fat, Muscle, water, and bone. I got it about 2 weeks into the program so my beginning body fat % was probably a little higher to begin with and I'm sure it improved more than the 2.8%
  • I just completed Jillian Michaels Body Revolution and am really happy with the results. I started at 148 lbs and lost 14.8 lbs and a total of 21.25 inches. I did the Kickstart week but did not follow her meal plan at all. I started at around 1200 calories, but after the first month, I increased to 1400. I did extra running…
  • Marieann- I was using only 5's for the entire 1st and 2nd phase and bought 10's for the third. Now I try to use the 10's for everything, even when she says to use a light weight. I can definitely tell a difference in my arms already. My husband says I have guns :) 4 more days and I'm done with JMBR!!! If I do another…
  • AMAZING!! I'm so proud of you! You have been so diligent and worked your a## and abs right off!! Really amazing results. I wish my abs could look even half as good as yours!!! You are HOT girl!
  • I have one more week of Body Revolution and I'm sticking to the 6 days a week program. I was running 4-5 days a week 2-5 miles at a time in addition to the Jillian workouts. This was on both circuit training and on cardio days. It was going great up until about 2 weeks ago when I developed a stress fracture in my right…
  • I'm 5'2 and 136 now. Right now my goal is 125. I may want to get a little lower around 120, but I'll have to see how I look and feel. I've always been more on the muscular side and want to be toned and strong so the number doesn't really matter.
  • Congrats on all your hard work!! Definitely a great accomplishment in 90 days! Love your little video! Keep at it and stay strong and motivated- you can do it!
  • You have made great progress- keep it up!! I love the program too- only a few weeks until I'm done with it!
  • Jillian has a Killer Buns and Thighs DVD, but you could look that up in YouTube and see some of her moves for those areas instead of another DVD purchase. Maybe swimming and water exercise would be good to really work your thighs without strain on your knees or joints.
  • Yes from the fitness guide in the program, you do the last 2 workouts for three weeks I stead of the normal 2. I'm ok with that- it takes me two weeks to really feel strong during a workout, although I don't think I'll ever be able to do the pigeon squats in workout 10 the whole time. I look like a drunk pigeon falling all…
  • You have made great progress!! Great Job! Keep up your hard work- you look fantastic!
  • I just picked up Ripped in 30 today and Insanity is on it's way via Ebay. So I'll do a combo of that, plus still going to run on the treadmill. I may pick up another Ab/core DVD or just search for some on YouTube to mix in there too. I don't even know which Insanity my husband bid on so I may be doing that for a few…
  • Fixed it for ya Kymkan!!
  • Thank you for this post and all the progress pics. Mom of three- all vag delivery. I still have wrinkled, saggy skin in my belly area. I've slimmed down, but really want to work on toning and finding those long lost abs!! Thanks for all the inspiration!! You all look amazing! Cheers to you!
  • Amazing job!! You have done so well and should be so proud of yourself.
