Absolutely this!! Great job! And, I can't believe that no one in your real life has noticed the change. You look amazing!

I like this! Also, I'd take more time for me when they're babies without feeling guilty for it.

It's not rest week, it's Recovery week, and you don't want to skip it. It's still a hard workout that week, he just slows down so your muscles can recover.

That's funny, I've had the complete opposite experience. My cramps have WAY lessened since going gluten free, however, my PMS has kicked up to epic proportions. It's bad for an entire week before I start my period. And, for the 2 days before I start, I cannot get full, no matter what I eat. And, I drink lots of water and I…

I'm just north of you in Delaware. :)

You look amazing!

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one. I'm slightly obsessed with mine. I'm constantly touching and admiring them.

You look amazing! Way to go. :) And I have to say, I totally agree with you. I think I've toned more and dropped more inches (though I still have a loooong way to go yet) in the 6 months since I left my gym than I did in the entire year I was there. It's amazing what you can do at home once you give yourself permission to…

This is how I read it in my brain too.

Definitely funny! Maybe a little mean, but definitely funny! Do it!

I'm still here! :) You are awesome and can do this!!!

I can answer the first question. I started c25k training last year in March and entered my first 5K in July. I finished with a time of 43 minutes and ran most of it. My second 5K I did in November and finished in 36 minutes. My body fat when I started was 42% and I'm not sure I'm under 35% even now. I'd have to double…

Both of my daughters are Girl Scouts, so yeah to this. We had a teacher choose to donate money to the troop insead of purchasing cookies it was awesome! Also, most Girl Scout troops will donate cookies to the service men and women serving overseas or to local food pantries, if you wanted to help the troop without being…

I feel the same and I apologize to anyone for whom that's offensive. I'm sure it's because I'm trying to do this with only diet and exercise and am looking for motivators and success stories that I can relate to. I have a friend who just had it done and I will admit that I'm a bit jealous of her initial weight loss. Last…

This. :)

A 1.5lb loss per week is a fantastic and healthy loss. Did you put all of your weigh on in 1 week? If not, then why expect it to come off so quickly?

I have similar issues with my knees when doing lunges and squats. I can certainly tell in my knees when my shoes need replaced because my knees kill me during lunges, squats and wall sits. Otherwise, I can do them pretty well. I had an exercise physiologist evaluate my form because my lunges were hurting. She told me to…

I have been thinking the same thing throughout this whole thread. I did Atkins in college, lost a fair amount of weight and then when I went back to my "normal" eating habits, I gained it all back and then some. Guess what, same thing happened to me when I did weight watchers. Shouldn't we all have the understanding from…

I think the moment I became serious was when I stepped on the scale at the Y and it read 305lbs. I had deluded myself into thinking that I was still around 250 and that it wasn't "that big". Having that reality smack me square in the face was my ultimate wake up call. Even if I have a day where I fall off the wagon, I made…

Definitely get evaluated. Running shoes are an investment and your feet and legs will thank you for it. Personally, I'm kind of cheap, so it hurts to pay $100 for "running" shoes. I bought my first pair and they were wonderful, but they wore out in 4 months and it hurt to run. So, I tried to just buy a cheap pair of shoes.…

You are amazing!! Thank you for sharing your inspirational story with us. :)

I'm 5'8.5" and 261lbs. My calorie goal is 1960 plus exercise. And, if you look at my ticker, I've lost 44lbs since the end of January. Pretty successful thus far. :)

People are a-holes, plain and simple. I'm sorry that they hurt your feelings, but please don't let their stupidity derail all of your hard work. You are making your life better while they're spending their days sitting in a park making fun of people. They are sad, sad people. You are amazing! Don't let them bring you down…

I want to shop, for once in my adult life, in the Misses section of the store! I no longer want to be 'plus' sized.

I've not tried Insanity yet, but I also tend to feel hungrier on my rest days. I'm not sure if it's boredom, time of the month or what, but sometimes it feels like no matter how much I eat, I can't get satisfied. During these times, I tend to go toward the higher protein and higher fiber foods. They seem to help the best.…

Fantastic job! You are amazing. :)

When I was at my first 5K this past summer, there was a double leg amputee standing in front of me. He had special legs and was going to run the race as well. The back of his shirt said "What's your excuse?" and I realized that with my 2 good legs, I no longer had one. He's the one I think of when I want to quit.

I was in college and was doing field experience in an 8th grade classroom when the first tower was hit. We sat there in disbelief, but tried to keep the day going for the kids. The second tower was hit right as we were leaving to head back to campus. For most of the rest of the day, my friends and I sat at the coffeehouse.…

This. Our girls aren't allowed on their bikes without helmets. Therefore, my husband and I wear them too.
