I'm sure it's fine if you are staying at or under your goals for the day. Just an FYI: If you did nothing but stop drinking regular pop and replace it with water, you would lose 10 pounds in a year!

If you have buffet style food at your dining hall then my experience was similar to yours. What I did was hit the salad bar first and made a huge salad. Eat the salad first so that you start to get full. That way you don't eat as much of the bad foods, if any at all. That worked for me. Good luck!

ok... as of last Friday I was 165... that's another pound down and a total of 20 pounds lost!... yay! I would have posted earlier, but I had a teaching conference on Friday and was gone the rest of the weekend.... and then I had parent teacher conferences yesterday and today, so I haven't been on in a couple of days…

Eat a large salad first.... that way you're more full and don't eat as much of the stuff that's not so good for you. If your school has a grill in the cafeteria get some grilled chicken, squeeze a wedge of lemon on it... and finish it off with a piece of non-processed cheese and a tomato. Then dip it in mustard. If you go to your local grocery store and go down the baking aisle where all of the spices are there are a ton of spice blends for chicken. Greek spices are also really awesome on chicken. Hope this helps!:flowerforyou:

It's ok if you're only doing that once in a while, but if you're not using those carbs they turn into fat.

does the machine have a display?... it should tell you how many calories you burned on that:happy:
