  • I use the Cusinart. It's small enough for counter or you can tuck it away. It weighs in grams and oz. The price in the states was around $25 I think. Weighing is a great help for sure! It is sometimes surprising to me that I can have more than I would have imagnined! The opposite happens sometimes as well :-( though! Good…

  • Thanks. I notice a difference in joint pain when I stop taking my D also! I live in Fl. and I get a sufficient amount of sun and I am still deficient in D. The Doc says more and more people are low on D. Wonder what that is about?
  • Chinese! Steamed chicken or shrimp or tofu with veggies and brown rice and brown sauce. Always works for me.
  • RELAX! When you were 107 lbs. heavier, you never thought about it, right? It's because you think about it that you are doing so well! I think we all think about it so much more than we ever did so it seems excessive. Just smile when you have these thoughts, know you are doing well and think of something else like how great…
  • I notice that you eat pretty much the same exact thing every day! You need to get some variety. For breakfast,,,Have crereal one day, and try an egg the next..and so on. The same for lunch - you need more variety...make a whole turkey breast and have some with your salad and on a sandwich once in a while...you are doing an…

  • Try a handful of nuts and or grapes when you get hungry, depending on how many calories you have left. Cut up strawberries with light whipped topping are great too!
  • WAY more than 1200, that's for sure! It's amzaing to me now that I am counting just how many calories I was consuming! lol! :drinker:
  • Well done! Please don't get discouraged and quit if you do not see a loss once in a while (or even a gain, it happens!)..as long as you stay on track this new lifestyle change DOES work! If you fall off the wagon, climb right back on! Stay focused and remember the saying "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!" Keep up the…
  • Do you have a crock pot? Many healthy meals can be prepared in very short time the night before and refrigerated. Plug it in before you leave for work and dinner is ready when you walk in the door. Prepare healthy lunches the night before also. Take a cooler in the car with fruit, drinks and healthy snack bars for the kids…
  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • First, let me say WELCOME to MFP! Here are two quick, healthy meals you can try. If you like salad with grilled chicken you can always grill up the chicken before hand and just add to a nice big mixed salad in the evening, For moister chicken I put skinless, boneless chicken breasts in the microwave, cover with low sodium…
  • I know how you feel! People are funny about saying anything though. I remember feeling the exact same way you do. Also, 10 lbs. is AMAZING but much of it is water weight and it's not that obvious to others at first. You feel it but they don't see it! I can assure you that they WILL see it because you are certainly on the…
  • Hey there! Welcome to MFP! I am sure you will do well! It's an excellent tool to help you on your way!

  • Steamed chicken and veggies - no sauce - add some soy sauce yourself (sparingly) If they have brown rice, have no more than 1/2 cup. Drink the tea before you eat and a glass of water if you can. :drinker: Good luck!
  • EXCELLENT advice! Thanks
  • Everyone has a day like that once in a while! However, If you didn't eat your excercise calories and you were still within your allowable calorie amountrange then you are FINE!
  • We have all been there, done that! As everyone says...shake it off and move forward!
