I had a friend who was prescribed 1 cup of cherries per day by her naturopath for sleep issues. It worked for her.

It's actually pretty common to prescribe a medication for what's called an "off-label" use. That being said, I would be leery of taking antidepressants, because they have many dangerous side effects.

I love mine! I google a lot of unfamiliar things, but they also provide recipes on their website for the things in your weekly box. I rarely have to throw anything away.

I feel like it's only awkward when people seem to be scrambling over what to feed me. If they just let me figure it out, it's usually a lot better. I can almost always find something to eat. If I think that I won't, I'll eat beforehand or offer to bring a dish.

That's not true for me. I follow a vegan diet 95% of the time, but I eat meat occasionally... maybe once a quarter or less. It doesn't bother my digestive tract, it just makes me feel sort of... heavy. If I eat something really fatty, it will make me feel ill, though, so just choose your meat with your healthy eating…

You look amazing! I also like that you're wearing practically the same outfit, with the same pose in both photos. It makes the changes a lot clearer.

I use them to make "ice cream" - freeze them & toss them in the food processor with some nuts & fruit when you want sweets. Nice avatar, btw. I was watching re-runs last week when I was sick. Edited to add: I recommend peeling before freezing.

The trick for me was to just get back on the horse every time I slipped off. I had a really hard time sticking to this when I first tried it. This time around, I've had rough patches, but I just keep climbing back on. Even if I realize in the middle of the day that I've slipped up, I'll track what I remember, and go from…

I actually just read something about this in my nutrition textbook today. It's more a matter of what you're eating and how water responds to those molecules. Water follows sodium & protein, so if you are taking in a large amount of those two substances, you can retain water - unless you drink enough to flush it out…

I bought a cheap heart rate monitor to track my calorie burn during yoga.

I will not read it: In a house, with a mouse; On a boat, with a goat; Not even if you promise me green eggs & ham. No.

I know that sometimes the link will have IMG, when it needs to be img - maybe that's why they're not showing?

I run in the dark all the time. Just wear reflective gear and/or lights. A headlamp is good, too. It's nice; I feel like a ninja.

I've gotten pretty good at eating smaller portions, so I plan to have a little bit of everything that I like, including desserts! I also make sure that I bring a couple of healthy dishes that I can pig out on if I just feel like I need to go to town on something. TG is my favorite holiday, because of the family time that…

Finishing a half marathon, even walking some of it, is an AMAZING accomplishment! You won't regret doing it!!

You've posted a list of my favorite foods! I'm terrified of ground hamburger. and sausage.

I was having extremely heavy periods & bleeding throughout the month, with cramping - though not as bad as yours, it sounds like. My doctor attributed it to my weight. She said that fat tissue stores hormones, specifically estrogen, which had caused my endometrial lining to become overgrown. Losing weight would help, but…
