You should hit a goal weight, or preferably look the scale is just a #, and then start a reverse diet. Where you add anywhere from 50-100 or so calories back in each week. This will increase your metabolism over time. You should still lose another pound or so during this period because you will still be in an energy…

I ate pop tarts multiple times a week when I was dieting. Just make it fit. Stay away from portions you can't control, or foods that can cause you to binge.
-
Its not necessary and sets a lot up people up for a binge by being too restrictive.

im still here ;)

Join the gym. Who cares what people there think. Honestly, think of the type of person that would look down on your for trying to positively change your life....do you really care what they think? The gym is your time. Put in your head phones and get to work :) If you're nervous about what exercises to do, or how to do…

5-7 miles would be active. Your campus must be huge.

Make small changes that are achievable and work into making a complete change like the above post states. The diet and binge cycle is likely due to you dieting too hard and restricting yourself and eventually you cave in and all of your hard work was for nothing. A smaller calorie deficit is probably a better option,…

Those are very low calories for someone your size. 1200 net, means you could eat 1500 calories but burn 300 through exercise to be at 1200. So it takes your intake - exercise. Start resistance training if you currently arent, stop doing excessive cardio and begin to build some muscle.
-
Your carbs are lower than they could be anyways, you'll be fine.
-
For most people that are not active, simply getting up and moving for 30 minutes a day most days of the week is a great starting point and hopefully leads to more strenuous activity and a healthier lifestyle.

probably a club that doesnt card very well

The more lean mass you have, the more calories you will burn at rest throughout the day. So you will be able to lose fat while eating higher calories with more muscle mass making dieting easier. Your current body comp and goals will determine your calorie intake. If you are new to resistance training I would recommend…

MFP doesn't know your maintenance calories, especially after being in a calorie deficit when your metabolism slows over time. It can just estimate them. You should have been more consistent with slowly adding in your calories so you would not have to deal with the 5 pound jump.

im sure i could

This is all you really need to know.

Look into healthy alternatives to popular dishes. Replacing oils and butter with things like greek yogurt, protein powder, or baby food are great ways to keep calories down and not sacrifice much taste, if any.
-
.8g protein per pound (assuming youre resistant training, if not you should be) .4-.5g fat and the rest carbs. If youre new and struggling to hit a macro ratio then simply work to hitting a calorie goal each day as that is most important. From there, you can begin to chip away at hitting your proper macros. One thing at a…

If its pushing you much harder then you need to make sure you are recovering properly (hydration, nutrition, sleep, etc)

Fat is the most calorie dense macronutrient so really any low calorie foods will be low in fat as well. Something like peanut butter will be 'only 100 calories' while supplying 8g fat per tbsp. As far as fasting, I would never recommend anyone fast. You can eat less on your off days and eat more on your training days. In…

Hit your goal, then slowly add in the calories until you have found your new maintenance.

You know if you have Diastasis Recti from the pregnancy? That could be a large factor in how you train you abdominals.

You're awesome. Keep it up.

Good luck! Remember to stay motivated, and dont expect results over night. Dont over complicate your journey either. Work to change bad habits and turn them into good habits. One thing at a time. It'll get rough at times but dont let 1 slip up turn into 2 or 10. Consistency is key ;)

science proves the first point to be complete BS the rest is up to the individual. If they cant track without turning into a retard then that their own fault.
