5:2 Fasting on Work Out Days?

I've found that after working out my appetite decreases significantly. As long as I get in enough protein, do you think I should fast on work out days? What if I don't hit my fat ratio - is that bad? Can you suggest any fatty foods that are relatively low in calories?

Fat is the most calorie dense macronutrient so really any low calorie foods will be low in fat as well. Something like peanut butter will be 'only 100 calories' while supplying 8g fat per tbsp.
As far as fasting, I would never recommend anyone fast. You can eat less on your off days and eat more on your training days. In fact I recommend that and enjoy it. I would hit your protein and fat goals and decrease carbohydrate by about 50

i don't do 5:2 fasting, but i fast 18 hours per day. i fast BEFORE working-out but never after. protein is essential for muscle growth and repair. drink a protein shake if you don't feel up to eating. i'm not sure about hitting your fat ratio, sorry.

Should you fast or not is entirely up to you. People who do typically don't stress over hitting macros those days. Your body cares what you feed it over time, not on MFP's clock.

You won't find low-cal, high fat foods because fat is the most caloric macro at 9 per gram, vs. 4 for protein. You can still do a high fat, 500 calorie day but you'll get less volume than with other macros. But fat is filling. But you won't shrivel up if you eat low fat for a day, either. :)
