I agree the point of the 5:2 is you do NOT count calories on the 5 days. In saying that, you do not need to a 2 large pizzas and a cake during those 5 days. That is why I think this diet is going to work for me.

I started today on this diet. How is it going so far for you? I plan on eating grilled chicken and grilled veggies tonight.

What this book is saying this not everyone can lose weight the same weight. Not everyone can just count calories and lose weight. If the counting calories works for you then....keep on doing it. This book says to eat several times through out the day and you are allowe to have carbs.

The gym scals say I am less than what mine do at home. But....I kep with mine because I did my start weight on mine, at home. So....It probably all works out to be the same.

There could be many reason why you gained 2 lbs. But...I know that doesn't help when the scale says it either. I will tell you it is NOT fat weight....I seriously doubt it.

Yes, I found that also and it said 300 and something for me for the same amount of time. But...if I times that by 5 hours or so....that is a lot of calories...so, I think I should probably not count them. But I shouldn't feel bad if I eat a little more calories on those days.
