I miss EQ so much. I quit after PoP came out. It just wasn't the same game anymore. Remember 5 hour corpse runs after a raid wipe? Good times. ;)

I eat all of my calories between 8pm and 2am. I'm losing just fine. ;)

My quinoa salad is cold with cucumbers and tomatoes tossed with italian dressing. Or as a basic side dish--quinoa cooked in veggie or chicken stock instead of plain water.

My daughter had it! She grew out of it recently, at age 4! I feel for you! It was horrible to watch her have to go through that! :(

You don't have to buy at the running store. Get fitted, have your gait analysed (all free). Then you'll know what type if shoes you need and can comparison shop online or at different stores. And if you're working out in secondhand shoes, please, please stop. You're going to injure yourself.
-
Have either of you actually gone to a running store to get fitted for shoes? The right shoes will make a huge difference.

No way in hell would I let someone who's NOT qualified put anything in my butt. How do you even know the instruments are sterile? Blech! But hey, you want a professional opinion? Here's what the Mayo Clinic has to say-- "Although doctors prescribe colon cleansing as preparation for medical procedures such as colonoscopy,…

^^ This. Please get fitted properly. It's free, and your feet will feel awesome in the proper shoes.

Absolutely. I replace them every 500 miles.

You've never run before? And you're registered for a 5K? Have you done C25K? Or ANY other training? It's tough to know what goal to set if you've never actually run before. Why set a time goal? Why not just have a finishing goal? Your goal is to finish your first 5K. That's what mine was. And I succeeded.

I can't handle the texture when they gel, so I usually put them in yogurt. I've also sprinkled them on sandwiches and in omelettes.

A good friend just did it for 10 days. He lost about 20lbs and he says he felt great. He's a runner and was able to train and run during the juice fast. To each their own. Some love it, some don't. I'd love to try it, but I can't afford it at the moment.

Hi! I`m an IFer, and we have similar goals! I'm 5'5", SW was 182, CW is 177, GW is 125. It's nice to meet you!

You should research before you post a reply. There are many of us! Here's a recent post: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/847171-5-2-diet?hl=5%3A2 And here's the IF group that I belong to: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/49-intermittent-fasting Good luck! I love IFing!

Mine too!

I'm also reading Let's Pretend This Never Happened! And Biff was so great that I gave it to my brother for Christmas. Try Good Omens. Its hilarious!

Prepare less food? Also, willpower. I'm really not sure what you're asking us to do here. You seem to have an excuse for all suggestions.

I'm pretty much one of the biggest Doctor Who fans you'll meet. I plan to have the TARDIS tattooed onto my calf in the summer. Oh, and in my avatar there? <That's me cosplaying Donna, on my way to a con. Yes, I love it THAT much. ;)

There's a few different free C25K apps. Do a search. They'll come up. :) And do NOT run in your boots. You'll need to get some GOOD shoes from a running store. Running in boots is just asking for injury, foot pain, knee pain, back pain, etc. Have fun!

When I visit family, I eat what they eat, but in much smaller portions.

Go outside?

I often cosplay at cons and wear my steampunk gear, which includes corsets. I look GREAT in my corset, but they're REALLY uncomfortable and, yep, dangerous to wear often. If worn too often or too tightly, they cause fainting, loss of breath, damage your ribs and/or organs. So, no. They're not really a good way to lose…

I'm guessing you don't know Joss very well. That's never been his purpose.

What are you asking, exactly?

Then don't do it? ;) IF works for me. (Cross posted) I was IFing unknowingly for years before I came across the site. This is what my body seems to want, so I oblige. I'm a 18/6, which means I fast for 18 hours a day, and eat/snack for the remaining 6 hours. I stay within my 1400 calorie allowance in that 6 hours. I was…

Yes. Eat more. Seriously, eat back some or most of the calories you burned.

I find that I get bored doing the same thing everyday. I do 30DS twice a week, a boot camp cardio video I found on You Tube twice a week, and pilates once a week. Then I walk either outdoors or on the treadmill fives days a week. And I've done 30DS level 1 and 2 on the same day, yes!

My guy doesn't need a 'lifestyle change' like I do. He's lucky to have a great metabolism and he's slim and trim. But I'M the one who does the cooking and I cook meals that I want to eat. He eats it, or he goes hungry. I don't give him another choice. I'm not his slave.
