  • I have also been thinking about extending each Phase by one week. I have a lot of weight to lose and won't reach my goals by the end of 90 days, so a few extra weeks seem reasonable. Erin & Gatorgirl, are you guys set on longer Phases?

  • I think that most people track both as "general circuit training." You can also do a custom exercise and use a heart rate monitor. If you have a heart rate monitor, this is the preferred method, since the measurement will be more accurate. The MFP tracker may overestimate your burn a little.

  • For JMBR Cardio workouts, it is usually up to 250 (e.g., yesterday in the evening it was 204 and this morning 225 for the same workout), and for the remaining ones usually somewhere between 250 and 325. Some of the workouts are shorter than others, so I assume that will also account for the difference in calories burned.

  • I think it does not matter whether it is morning or afternoon as long as you work out every day as scheduled. I personally find afternoons more doable, also, as I like to sleep in in the morning. If I work out in the afternoon, that helps me control the amount of food I eat in the evenings.
