I'm also on it. Lost about 50 lbs at my max, but I'm frequently travelling which makes it hard to stay in keto. When I'm home I'm keto though! I do a 10/60/30 ratio so I'm a bit less strict with carbs. Diary is open.

I'm on 1600 a day and my dinner could range from 500 to 1200 cals. It just depends on what I've already eaten and it makes no difference to the body in the long run which time of the day the calories come in. That being said, I try not to eat a huge dinner close to bedtime because I wake up feeling bloated and acidic.

Do both. You just wont see the results of the weight training until the fat is gone, but it will help in the fat loss efforts. Also, it's extremely hard to build muscle in a caloric deficit, but you can definitely improve your strength.

When the pain is gone and you feel like it won't damage your wrist to begin lifting again.

You definitely look slimmer, but the second pic is zoomed out more and they're both really small. To post a pic here you use [ img]URL[/ img] but with no spaces in the square brackets.

I don't "lie" but sometimes I'll defer calories I've eaten late at night to the next day. Like if I go over today I'll record the 'over' on tomorrow's diary and work around it.

I started out at under 20g per day until I got acclimatized. Now I can eat up to 50 and still maintain keto. Part of it will depend on your body, of course, and what you find comfortable and sustainable. My macros started at 5/65/30 carbs/fat/protein, and now I'm at 10/60/30.

Oil - Olive/Coconut/etc Shrimp Tandoori spice Mix shrimp and spice. Fry in oil. Serve. These have always been a hit with the guests.

Don't do it. Give your body enough time to properly heal, especially after something like back surgery. Your back is critical in pretty much every land exercise. If you really do have to do something, then maybe some light swimming, which should be easier on the back.

Definitely check with the physician. Also, what's your water intake?

Polar RS100 works nicely for me.

Sounds sexy to me :drinker:

You want to be a sexy nurse eh.

When you're on low carb you want to have a higher sodium/potassium/magnesium intake because you -should- be drinking a lot of water to help with the increased fat and protein intake (I'm talking 16+ cups). Also, on low carb the kidneys are very liberal in releasing all that sodium/etc out your bladder. Now don't go nuts…

If you can barely do regular pushups, then I don't think you need to start weights. If you can barely do two, then try to start with three sets of that and increase the reps every week. Doing incline pushups like pwnderosa said might also help get you started. Btw, 46 military sit-ups is impressive! I can barely do 25.…

Why not try a different nut butter? Almond butter is pretty yum.

Ditto on what everyone is saying. It's only bad if you're over calories. I frequently eat a 1000+ calorie dinner at about 10:30.

Scarborough checking in. I think I'm the first.

I went from 230-200 with diet alone. Only introduced exercise recently.

Or lazy.

I'm on a calorie deficit and I upped my bench a pretty sizable amount (highest I've ever been). I was wondering how that was possible in a deficit and some of the posts here have given me some answers. Thanks!

This thread got me in the mood, lol. BBQ Saturday!

That's one of the big warnings on all those machines isn't it? "If you experience dizziness or nausea, please consult a medical professional"

I stopped drinking everything except club soda and water and I noticed my skin got much healthier and I have more hair now. Also stopped getting heartburn every day. I did change a bunch of other things in my diet though, so it might not all be due to the diet drinks :-)

What is this I don't even. Well it's ultimately the same thing to your body so she might as well have had that candy bar or whatever, hahaha.
