For the bachelorette party, probably most of the girls attending will help with costs regardless of whether they are in the bridal party or not.

What she said! This is how I do it anyways.

I too have had a lot of pain in my hip flexor area, however it has lessened. Not sure if it's due to getting used to walking that distance now, or doing a lot of stretching after walking. Now if I could just get the area behind my knees to quit hurting!

I work at a computer all day and do not need reading glasses.

As long as your Dr says you're a good candidate.....go for it! I am very pleased with mine. I love the freedom of not have to deal with glasses and contacts anymore.

My familly loves my homemade pizza. Can't wait to see their reaction to the new and improved version with a cauliflower crust! You guys are awesome!

Thanks for all the options! I can't wait to try them out. Perhaps I should have bought 3 or 4!?!?!? Naw...but eventually I will be giving each a try since I need to work more veggies into my diet.

I throw several frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot to cook with just a tad of water and they come out juicy. Then I've always got some extras to keep in the fridge to use in other recipes. It shreds easily that way too.

I always add a tablespoon of peanut butter. And then to that, either a bit of cinnamon or baking cocoa. The second kinda makes it like a no bake cookie.

As the others have said, hummus is great. Another thing I make is a creamy mixture of avocado and plain fat-free yogurt with some seasonings. Love it with my veggies.

www.skinnytaste.com Nutritional values are included for the recipes also.

Chesty Heaven Ridge....but you can call me Chesty Heaven for short.

These are what I use also. Much better option than the regular.

One of my MFP friends loves it. I wanted to get some but could only find it online and the shipping is as much as the product (unless you buying like a case of it).

Bump! Can't wait to try making my own yogurt!

You can cook eggs, pasta, meat, and probably several other things in it. I use mine every morning to cook my oatmeal in. Cooks it perfectly and I don't have to stir a pot on the stove or watch for it to explode in the microwave. :)

I don't know about the order in an individual meal, but....I've been told to eat your carbs earlier in the day and limit how many you have in the late afternoon/evening.

I like to puree avocado and greek or plain non-fat yogurt together with some garlic and onion type seasonings.

lol Congrats! I was excited when I got to overweight too. WTG!

Love French onion soup. Bump!

I asked for one just because of all the hype on here and received it for Christmas. I've worn it while working out, but am now wondering if I really needed it. I've got a calorie count that I can log in here, but could have entered a guesstamate using MFP's database. And it is only good for cardio and not valid for…

Mine swell also. I've learned that when walking, you should keep your arms bent at a 90 degree angle (like you would do if you were running). Still not an answer to your other types of workouts, but helps when walking.

See if you can locate my post from yesterday. Essentially identical to yours and was given some websites to check out.

Thanks Barb and congrats on your first race!

After reading the threads on here, I went with a Polar FT7. It has the ability to enter the stats that are required for accurate numbers. I bought mine on ebay new for $63. Good luck!

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I had already checked and it does accept walkers...just have to finish in 4 hours. I will definitely be checking into those websites as well. Thanks again!

I had to change my settings from the default goals. I decreased my carbs and increased my protein. My trainer said that I should be getting a minimum of 80 grams of protein.
