  • I agree! Buy more dresses :) I think some kind of braid-y hairdo would be cute with this.
  • I don't shop at Express much, but their tanks are great for this issue! It's called the Sexy Stretch cami, and they are usually buy 1, get 1 50% off. I have hope for toning my "mommy belly," but for the meantime I need these to feel comfortable.
  • I can relate. I have a mother who is unhappy with her life and blames me for it.. .almost every day. I've worked so hard on my education and all areas of life to try to please her, and it's disappointing that nothing I do ever makes her happy. It's always a focus on the negative. A while ago I went to counseling. Although…
  • Ohh, the gap in the back! I was just complaining about this today, lol. The ONLY type of jeans that fit me are True Religion. I splurged on a new pair (waited out a good sale at Off Saks). Today I put them on, and they are too big - which makes me both happy, and enraged! I wish so much that I could walk in to a TJ Maxx or…
  • Why would you want to lose it??
  • I have definitely gained muscle. Before the end of level 1, I could tell a difference in my legs, back, and arms - a lot firmer.
  • 8 lb weights would have been too heavy for me, but I'm just beginning any kind of strength training. For the harder moves, I start out with 3 lb weights and make it my goal to move up to 5 lbs by day 5 of any given level. Weights are cheap, so I would have a few on hand to use as you feel necessary.
  • Wow thanks for posting all of your pics. They are super motivational, and are making me seriously consider buying the DVDs!
  • I just worked a full time (55 hr/wk++) internship for 5 months and have a little boy who is 3. At the end of it, I actually declined an amazing job offer because I had little time for my boy and gained some serious pounds, to top it off. The dream job wasn't worth it to me at the expense of my son and my health. It turned…
  • I took 2 days off because of extreme busy-ness and felt like total crap earlier in the day. I did level 1 for 8 days, but felt like moving up to level 2 today because level 1 was just starting to be really easy (the first day I was dying!) I had to do level 2 in 2 parts! I did the first half, went to pick up my son from…
  • WOW, what a change! Congrats on your success!
  • Just came back from a Father's Day pool party... Moderate tipsiness will not get between me and an amazing JM workout, lol Level 1 Day 8!! Oh, and I felt comfortable enough to break out a bikini today! I ordered it at the start of summer, and the bottoms were actually nearly falling off today :\ The squat-raises and…
  • Ugh, I just got it today :( I've been doing 30 day shred for the past 7 days, and could hardly tell it was coming except for bloating up like a balloon halfway through yesterday :( :( :( Usually I have PMS for a full week. I took a diuretic today, just to try it, and it seems to be helping. I almost feel like I can face…
  • I get the same thing, I bought a giant jug of Proactiv bodywash on Amazon. It's really good!
  • My little boy, Joey, is 4 and has Down Syndrome <3 Working out and staying healthy is my #1 de-stressor, because it does get tough at times!
  • Same here - I want to know too!
  • Wait.... So is the 30 day shred meant to be completed within one month or is is supposed to be 30 days of doing the workout in total (7+ weeks)?? I've been doing it every single day.
  • Were you happy with the results of 30 Day Shred and 6 week 6 pack? I'm on day 5 of the shred and wanting to do the 6 pack as well.
  • I am amazed! It's only day 4, and my stomach and legs are already looking quite a bit tighter. It's inspiring me to eat healthier as well to enhance my progress. Pushing through the workout is sooo tough for me still, but I cannot wait to see the final result!!
  • I had the same thought... I bought both videos but wasn't able to do the 6 week 6 pack in the same day as 30 day shred because it still has some pretty tough leg moves. My legs are ON FIRE after 30 day shred. I think I'm going to stay loyal to the Shred and do the 6 pack after - alternating would lead to some awesome…
  • Mornings are just not possible for me. It takes me a good 1-2 hours to be fully awake. Getting out of my cozy bed is soooo painful and feels like the worst thing in the world at the time, lol. I would be curious to know if anyone has actually had success with turning into a morning person??
  • When I went to Target yesterday to buy the 30 Day Shred, I thought I would treat myself to a new sports bra! Usually I buy their regular C9 bras, which are awesome and come in fab colors, but wear one of my Victoria's Secret PINK cotton bras as a racerback underneath for 100% support. However, yesterday they had the C9…
  • charleyboots - I'm in the same boat as you! My son is turning 4 in August, and I still haven't *quite* taken off the baby weight. I'm using this as my big push to see if I can finally get that accomplished. Good luck! I'm wondering if anyone's had success at improving the "mommy belly" using 30 Day Shred? I hope it's…
  • Just finished Level 1 Day 2. Today didn't feel as IMPOSSIBLE as Day 1, despite being sore. The side lunges are the hardest part for me! Today, I decided to drop the weights in order to engage correctly into the position. Thinking about trying out the 6 week six-pack after my protein shake!
  • Hello! I got motivated to start the 30 Day Shred thanks to before and afters in a thread on MyFitnessPal and http://beforeandafterweightlosspics.tumblr.com I did day 1 of level 1 yesterday following the beginner girl. I had to pause her quite a few times to catch my breath for 10 seconds or so! I woke up this morning in…
  • I go through the same thing... makes me so depressed! I finally bought a diuretic to try the next time around. My mom, who is an MD, has been recommending it to me for a while now. This one is called Diurex Ultra, and I bought it at Wal-Mart for $7. It says it helps with "temporary water weight gain, bloat, swelling, full…
