I did it last year and yes, it does work, if you do. I don't know your fitness level, but don't be rigid on the 10/10/10 plan. I did like 15 days of level 1, then 10-12 of level 2 and then two weeks of level 3. You'll know when you're ready to move up. I didn't lose a lot weight wise, but definitely lost inches and toned…

I don't have the new book, so I can't help, but there is a group on here for Chris Powell. Might want to ask there. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/3318-chris-powell-s-choose-to-lose

You do not need sugar or oil in homemade bread. This is my go-to recipe, and very versatile. http://www.simplysogood.com/2010/03/crusty-bread.html Crusty Bread 3 cups unbleached all purpose flour 1 3/4 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon Instant or Rapid-rise yeast 1 1/2 cups water In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour,…

I felt bad for Dave and Jay. Both of them had huge losses and looked amazing, but because the were the last to weigh in for the at-home and finals, they got overshadowed by the winners. They didn't get their moment to shine.

1/2 Dutch, 1/4 German and 1/4 mix of English/Irish/French. I'd love to get one of the Ancestry.com dna tests done, but don't have money for it right now. My father's ancestors came from Holland and my maternal grandma's side from Germany guaranteed. It's my maternal grandfather that's the wild card.

Shoot, I wish mine were Pillsbury. Right now it's Chase Bank (I've never had anything to do with them) and the envelope with "view private message" in blue. That one is annoying.

Gremlins - A relative gave me a cassette tape and a book when I was like 4. I had recurring nightmares for years. Final Destination movies - Because some of that crap *could* happen in some variation.
-
For me personally - I don't think I had a solid foundation. I've gotten lazy about logging food and haven't been exercising. I haven't had will power when hubby says "I'm going to Baskin Robbins, want something?" at 9 pm.

Congrats! You may want to check out www.babyfit.com in addition to MFP.

It's Bailey's first birthday today and she's howling with excitement! http://youtu.be/iIaJSjy56rg

Good to hear from you babeinthemoon! You will get back on track when you are ready. Right now you need to concentrate on healing :)

I need to restart it. I did fantastic with it a few months ago, lost inches, visible difference... but then I slacked off, lost motivation, etc.
-
Forgot to mention - A few years ago, the older dog had fleas. I certainly would not have wanted those in bed with us.
-
Ha, not anymore. When my husband and I started dating, he had a 2 year old Rottweiler. She would literally push me out of bed. I got tired of having a pillow full of dog hair and dried slobber. She is now 10 1/2 years old, 135 lbs and could not get on the bed if she tried. She's been happily sleeping outside our room since…

I make iced chai lattes with it. 3-4 ice cubes, equal amounts of unsweetened almond milk (or unsw. chocolate almond milk) and Oregon Chai's slightly sweet chai concentrate with a dash of nutmeg.

Here is the run down of the episode: http://abc.go.com/shows/extreme-weight-loss/episode-guide/episode-307-trina She was 149 lbs at her 9 month weigh in. She was told she could do the skin removal surgery (had lost almost 50% of her original body weight), but she gained 32 lbs in the following 3 weeks. She claimed it was…

Do you watch the show? It's completely different from Biggest Loser. Chris Powell does it over the course of a year, not just a few months. This particular woman took 3 months off work to focus on herself. Chris does a lot of good work with people and most of them sustain.
-
She admitted to eating pizza, cake, donuts, etc. It's entirely possible if you completely crash. I don't think I've heard Chris curse that much! What I don't get is the other nurses. The one was like 217 and lost 80 some pounds in a year, yay! The heaviest was over 400 lbs and lost only 14. What happened there??
-
Yes, you always have a high carb breakfast, no matter what day you are on. I decided against the Kindle version just for that reason :)

Everyone has great advice, so I really can't add anything there. When I stopped drinking pop, every time I visited my grandma's, she'd put a glass of coke in front of me and then try to make me feel guilty when I wouldn't drink it. After all, she opened a bottle, added ice, etc. Would not take no for an answer, but I…
