  • I just looked some up online yesterday on Food Network's website! Lentil and wild rice salad is yummy. I'm not sure if you have a Trader Joes near by but they sell lentils already cooked.
  • No, I didn't even see that one!!! I might have to go back and get that one!!! This is the liver, kidney, blood and intestinal detox cleanser.

  • Here's my typical day... Breakfast: 1/2 double fiber english muffin with one serving of turkey slices and 2 tablespoons low fat cottage cheese. One medium size apple. (If I weight train in the morning, I'll add a hard boiled egg) approx 300 cal Lunch: El Pollo Loco Ceasar Salad with a extra side of chop chicken breast and…
  • I make these all the time. I use my son's snack size applesauce. :)
  • I am up at 5:30 - and out of the house by 6:20. I'm at the gym by around 6:50 - 7. I'm out of there by 8:30 by the time I finish showering. I have an 8 year old so he can do most things himself. I try to do as much prep the night before. I usually go to bed between 9 and 10.
  • If they're member submitted, they may not show all nutrients. As far as diets are concerned - I usually stay way from bananas and mangos as they're not fiber rich and can mess with my "constitution" if you know what I mean. If you want to see nutritional stats on bananas...…
  • I'm scared to eat em cuz i'm not sure how accurate they are or how accurate my intake is...i'm usually about even tho...
  • I lost a lot of weight a few years back, and even tho I was getting slimmer, my tummy was the last thing I remember looking toned. Not till I really got in shape did I notice being satified with my stomach.
  • Well good luck to you...and the grass, I hear, is really greener on the other side of the weightloss fence!
  • I do fajitas because more protien. I marinade in low fat kraft italian dressing for like 30min. Then I just throw in a pan and cook. You can still enjoy the same toppings but use lean beef strips or chicken breast. :) Throw the leftovers on lettuce and add a dolup of sourcream for a great salad!

  • OH! I forgot, my fave! Frozen grapes! And handfull of those will definately do the trick!
  • I would make sure you're hydrated and then eat foods like watermelon! Try eating smaller meals throughout the day. I get like that too...it's too hot I have no appetite!
  • Theres no better motivation than being around people that love you just the way you are! Thanks for the sweet words :)
  • There's nothing like your own old clothes becoming new again!
  • The only advice I can give you is what my daddy told me, "Make a decision with your heart you'll make mistakes. Make a decision with you brain and you'll make mistakes. But decisions from the heart, you'll never regret." There comes a point in every relationship where you need to evaluate it's value. When you love your…
  • You know, I think the best advice I can give you, is to avoid bad habbits like standing and eating, eating the rest of your kids food, etc. I used to do it all the time! My son would leave a little left over on his plate, or he'll eat something like mac and cheese and I'll sneak a bite or maybe like 15 bites :embarassed:…

  • My friend made turkey chili today...try to figure that one out!!! I picked something comparable.
  • I just had a 1/4 cup (15 - 20) edamame steamed from last night...they were super cold and just a hint of salt. Having to pop them in my mouth gave me some satisfaction too!
  • I'm not sure if it's his music or his body but Kenny Chesney is a motivator for sure!!!
  • I just picked up an Organic Girl Salad (Italian Pomodoro) and nixed the croutons. Yummy! It's like 3 cups of salad...throw some pre-packaged chicken breast on top and call it a night! SOOOOOO DELISH!!!
  • I use a splash of Italian Sweet Cream from Coffee Mate in my coffee. Try switching to Green Tea. When I had to give up coffee due to UTI, I replaced with Green Tea and it does the same thing. And it's good for you. It's a psychological thing - you may just want a warm liquid in your favorite cup
  • I have a chocolate muscle milk shake whenever I go to the gym and do strength training. To me, it tastes like cocoa puffs and best thing is, I don't want to snack on candy all day! Another thing to do is to eat a higher cocoa content chocolate - a little piece of dark chocolate is actually ok to eat (like one square). Or…
  • oooooh thats a good one! I also like to eat fresh cut procuito out of the bag...mmmmm
  • Cinimmon keeps apples from oxidizing but also makes them brown..lol  You can also buy the little individual packs that have a little ascorbic acid (vitamin c) splashed on them...it does the same thing as lemons. My son likes those. I personally like to eat my apples off the core cuz the browning ruins it for me too!
  • I use it too and I use the "interval" program. day 1 - lower body strength training + 30 epi day 2 - upper body strength training + 30 epi day 3 - 45 - 60min epi. then I repeat the cycle every weekday and do outdoor activities on the weekends. it works because i hate the step machine and i feel like you can get the same…
  • hahaha!!! The funny thing is, I'd do something like that...but make sure I took off my shoes! LOL!
  • Thats what I'm doing. I get my carbs from beans (healthy protien / carb pairing) and like a piece of high fiber fruit. I also like to lift weights. I feel better now, because it's not like I'm eating a 22oz steak every night for dinner (although that doesn't mean I haven't thought about it  ) For example - I had a…

  • I never liked soda growing up because we we're allowed to have it at home until I got older and by then, I didn't care for it. Recently, I've grown fond of the coke zero. Which I have on occassion but have chose not to keep it at home. Soda can dehydrate you and that's part of the problem, diet or not. I once went to the…

  • Go dancing  It'll be a good workout and bring you're sexy back!
  • Have you checked with the doc that you don't have diabetes? My friend has diabetes and she told me excessive thirst is usually one of the most noticable symptoms. I drink around 64 - 96 oz a day and I feel right in the zone. That doesn't include any unsweetened ice tea or hot tea i have at night.
