I just looked some up online yesterday on Food Network's website! Lentil and wild rice salad is yummy. I'm not sure if you have a Trader Joes near by but they sell lentils already cooked.

I am up at 5:30 - and out of the house by 6:20. I'm at the gym by around 6:50 - 7. I'm out of there by 8:30 by the time I finish showering. I have an 8 year old so he can do most things himself. I try to do as much prep the night before. I usually go to bed between 9 and 10.

I lost a lot of weight a few years back, and even tho I was getting slimmer, my tummy was the last thing I remember looking toned. Not till I really got in shape did I notice being satified with my stomach.

I do fajitas because more protien. I marinade in low fat kraft italian dressing for like 30min. Then I just throw in a pan and cook. You can still enjoy the same toppings but use lean beef strips or chicken breast. :) Throw the leftovers on lettuce and add a dolup of sourcream for a great salad!

I would make sure you're hydrated and then eat foods like watermelon! Try eating smaller meals throughout the day. I get like that too...it's too hot I have no appetite!

You know, I think the best advice I can give you, is to avoid bad habbits like standing and eating, eating the rest of your kids food, etc. I used to do it all the time! I just had a 1/4 cup (15 - 20) edamame steamed from last night...they were super cold and just a hint of salt. Having to pop them in my mouth gave me some satisfaction too! :happy:

I just picked up an Organic Girl Salad (Italian Pomodoro) and nixed the croutons. Yummy! It's like 3 cups of salad...throw some pre-packaged chicken breast on top and call it a night! SOOOOOO DELISH!!!

I use a splash of Italian Sweet Cream from Coffee Mate in my coffee. Try switching to Green Tea. When I had to give up coffee due to UTI, I replaced with Green Tea and it does the same thing. And it's good for you. It's a psychological thing - you may just want a warm liquid in your favorite cup :happy:

Cinimmon keeps apples from oxidizing but also makes them brown..lol :laugh: You can also buy the little individual packs that have a little ascorbic acid (vitamin c) splashed on them...it does the same thing as lemons. My son likes those. I personally like to eat my apples off the core cuz the browning ruins it for me too!

Have you checked with the doc that you don't have diabetes? My friend has diabetes and she told me excessive thirst is usually one of the most noticable symptoms. I drink around 64 - 96 oz a day and I feel right in the zone. That doesn't include any unsweetened ice tea or hot tea i have at night.
