This is actually my first instinct. That your muscles are just too tired and sore before you start your run, so its hard to finish. How often do you run? When you are first starting out, you might want to run every other day, and don't increase your miles more than about 10% every week. Of course, it could be that you just…

I once saw my youngest niece do this really crazy dance (like, it looked like she was having a seizure), then she turned to her older sister and says "I don't know... was THAT break dancing?"

I've been going to one for about a year and a half. I think my location is great, because they don't seem to hate on weight lifters like others have commented on. The place is always very clean, the staff is pretty nice, and it isn't terrible. I do agree that it is odd that they have pizza and candy, but the pizza is only…

If you aren't specifically training for anything, maybe you should consider cutting back on the cardio, and eating a little more. My reasoning is this: if you have too high of body fat (which based on your description of yourself, you do), then you need to focus on losing that body fat while maintaining the muscle you…

Vanity sizing happens for men, too. In Old Navy/Gap clothes, I can be a 30 for some of their clothes. Other brands I'm comfortably a 32.

It is a little more work, but it is more accurate, to make a recipe with the meat and the marinated together.

Awesome recipe! I like to use greek yogurt in place of sour cream sometimes... I bet this would be one of the cases that it would work great.

I love reddit... r/loseit and r/fitness have been really helpful to me, too!

Asheville originally... now up in New England.

I've had 4 friends who have done it. They all love it, and said it is the best thing ever. I'm in the same boat as you, and really want to get it. I just need to set up the time to do it, I guess. I would just make sure that who ever does it offers "touch-ups" for life. Once you get it corrected, it does wear off slowly…

About 3 months old. Took it in October after my marathon.

Something maybe wrong with the "coffee with milk" recipe you are using. You can look at the nutritional information before adding it to your diary. Maybe look for a coffee with milk that has more people that confirmed it is correct. Or maybe just add them separately (i.e. Coffee as one diary entry and 2% milk as a second…

Try mint.com I've been using it for about a year. It really helps put all your bills into prospective and see what you are spending your money on.

I don't really mind them being there... I think it is great that they are taking an active role in their health. It just bugs me that there are more people at the gym. Think of it this way: on your commute home, would you rather there be no traffic on the road, or there to be a large volume of cars along your way? You…

Yeah, I agree with everyone on here. The risks greatly out weigh the possible benefits. Relax and stretch. That should be your main goals so close to the big day!

I've noticed it too. I try to stay positive: "Good for them for trying to exercise more!" What actually happens: "Get off my ****ing squat rack." Aaannnddd now because of the post below mine, I feel like a jerk.

All the races I've run have discouraged them, but no one was out there stopping people from using them. I would say half of the runners had them in. I, for one, don't like listening to music. I find getting lost in my own thoughts a much better way to pass the time!

Exactly. I'd be very hesitant to enter into a relationship with someone who has a kid. Not saying I wouldn't do it, but the other person would have to be really special...

I think it is a great idea to try and get people more aware of what they are putting into their bodies. But I feel like the people that would be interested in that knowledge already have it, so it is sort of an empty gesture.

I'll tip 20% or so if it is just a single session. If it is multiple sessions i might tip a little less on each visit, but then give a bigger tip on the final session. No real reason why I do this.. just do I guess.

Right now i'm playing AC3, Boarderlands 2, Diablo III, with a little Dishonored in there when i'm bored. Overall my favorite series of all time is all the Command & Conquer games. I'm a sucker for a good RPG and MMO as well.

AC3, Boarderlands 2, DIablo 3, Dishonored. In no particular order.

@lace smile... and that butt!

I say there is nothing wrong with taking a break. I ran a marathon a month ago, and haven't really been running much since then. I may take it easier until things warm up a bit up here in the Northeast.
-
Yeah, I would say you don't need as much of a warm up. Also, it is might be a little more productive use of your time to work out your entire body, or at least work out larger muscle groups (i.e. Chest, back and legs) every time you work out. You can certainly alternate between upper and lower body, but I would only…

My shorts (and my tights) have a pocket that is big enough for a key or 2. I normally put them there, or if I'm going on a longer run, I'll bring a water bottle (which the holder has a pocket) and put the key in there.

H&M normally has pretty cheap stuff. I think the quality might be not so great, but some things there are great, both price wise and quality wise. Target's line of clothes also isn't bad for the price. My recommendation is to find some styles that look good on GQ and/or esquire, and try and find those looks at different…

I think its all been said before, but I'll reiterate: - Get fitted for proper shoes. Good shoes aren't necessarily expensive ones, and expensive shoes aren't necessarily good. - Pace yourself. On a scale from 1-10, 1 being sitting on the couch, and 10 being the most physical exertion you could imagine, a light run should…
