My favorite part of this is that you can't really tell a major difference until month 4. This is so encouraging! Especially for those of us who feel like we are spinning our wheels. Thank you so much for posting.

Thank you for the pictures and the measurement advice. I've taken a few measurement but I really need someone to help to get it all acurately. :)

Now. I weigh about 70lbs less than I did in high school, I'm engaged to an absolute perfect match, and I have a wonderful job. Also, a great, fluffy trainable cat. What more could I ask for?

I started off really small. I'd walk past a donut at work and say, "Nope, I'm not going to eat it. Eating it is something I would normally do and if I keep doing what I would normally do, I'm always going to be this way." Everytime I resisted a temptation, I thought of it as a victory. Like, I can do this. They added up to…

This. In a nutshell. Also, my single parent mother had a hard time planning meals. So, when I got out on my own I would do silly things like bring a can of corn to work for lunch. Then I tried SlimFast to get the weight off...it worked for a time but then I gained some of it back and now here I am working my way down again.

Shawn of the Dead. Hands. Down. Also, as long as we're dreaming about the Walking Dead --- some slow and romantic with Daryl. Mmmmm....he makes me love crossbows.

Thank you for sharing so much of your story. It motivates me even more when I hear the steps that people go through to get where they are. And congrats!!!!!!

I do BodyPump and love it. For me, I wear a HRM and burn ~500-600 calories per class depending on the instructor. Though, they say that when you lift weights you also burn additional calories for days after the fact.

Ack, the Resolutioners!!! It started in full force yesterday. Of course, they wait until a monday to start!!! Not knocking them...just really hard to get through a class when there is double the number of normal people there and I don't really want to make new friends because I'm afraid that they are just going to leave in…

Hi I'm Beth and I'm currently shedding for my wedding in September! I've been going to some gym classes and trying to eat right. So far so good....though the holidays really put me back some. Add me if you'd like.

That's happened to be before. I get that way when I overdo it. Or, when I walk/run for a long distance. If you rub your major muscles, it goes away faster.

Let's make like DNA helicase and unzip those genes.

I prefer whey protein ISOLATE. It's a more refined version of the regular protein powder. Has less cholesterol, less fat, less calories with the same amount of protein per scoop. Do some online searches for that specifically and you can get an idea of the differences. I use NOW Whey Protein Isolate all the time. They have…

I'm 5' 3.5" and I was a size 10 at 165-170. Now that I'm 177, I'm back in my 12's. :( I made it all the way down to 158, but I was still a solid 10. Hope that helps.

I was in college but that morning I had work study as a secretary on campus. I remember the professors starting talking about planes hitting a building in NY. I'm from NC and I had never heard of the world trade center before so I didn't really understand the significance. It wasn't until they turned on a TV in the hall…
