    I weigh somewhere between 153-157lbs and I'm a size 10. I'm 5'3".

    I think it depends on the dress and where you carry your weight at. I am 5'4 155lbs and barely able to get into a 12 due to all my weight is in waist hips and thighs. I have a terrible time with dresses as I am only a B on top. I will probably see my 10's at 135.

    WOW ! I am so glad I read the replies to your question. It just goes to show how different we all are. There is no perfect size or weight, it is all very individual, and personal..
    I am 5'4", and 179. I distinctly remember when I was at 162 I tried on my old size 12 western jeans . I could button them, but they were still too tight.

    Wow, lucky lucky people on this thread at 180 in size 12.

    I am currently 176.5 and am 5'3" and I wear size 14. I wasn't able to wear size 14 until I was 178.5. The size 14 dress pants are comfy but size 14 jeans are still a little more snug than I prefer. It doesn't stop me from wearing them though. Ha! I am thinking it will be another 15-20 pounds before I'm in a size 12... but just guessing.

    I'm 4'11" and last time I weighed myself I was 158. I fit in a size 8/10 depending on the pants. I went to the doctors a few weeks ago, she weighed me, had to move the scale over more, she said she was trying to be nice and when she got my weight she looked at me and said "where is it all?" I'm not sure if I should've felt complimented or not.

    I'm 140 now and I wear between an 8 and a 12 depending on the brand of jeans. But in a dress, I wear a 6 most of the time. So I think when you are in the 150-160 range you should be able to wear a 10 dress, though maybe not a 10 in jeans. Jeans do not forgive, lol.

    ^^^ This. I'm 5'4 and 140, too and I wear a size 8 -12 in jeans depending on the brand/style. The dress slacks I wear to work are a size 6. I started out as a size 14 when I was 161. By the time I went to buy some new pants, I was a size 8.

    I'm 5' 3.5" and I was a size 10 at 165-170. Now that I'm 177, I'm back in my 12's. :( I made it all the way down to 158, but I was still a solid 10. Hope that helps.

    I'm 5'4ish and I am just starting to fit into some 8's at 145 lbs. Sometimes my 10s are more comfotable though. I am hourglass shaped so I have a booty and thighs. I also run and ride horses so I have thicker muscled legs. So much of it depends on your personal body shape and how much muscle you carry as many people have already said. Remember size isn't everything, it's how you feel!:wink:

    I'm 5'3". When I wore a size 10, I weighed around 145. I'm also pear-shaped and carry all my weight in my hips and butt, so it depends on your body composition. When I was 155, I wore a size 12!
    wow it really depends on body type i am no where near my weight right now but the lowest weight i was, was about 150 and i was size 14, and I really didn't think I had that big of behind, so I know its body shapes but I cant see 165 going into any 10.. but i guess..

    i'm reading some of these posts and i'm like....what the heck!! at 150 the smallest i wore was a comfortable 14. i'm currently in a comfortable size 20 at 200.

    I am 5'3" 180 pounds...I am in a size 12 right now, so I would guess that at 160-170 I will be able to fit in a 10. I also have a dress I bought at the beggining of my journey that is a size 10....it will be a happy day when I can wear it! Good luck!!

    I would agree with this. I'm 5'4" and expect to be a size 10 probably at around 165.

    I am 5'4.5" inches. Tall. I am medium frame. I have a flat Filipino butt :laugh: No hips...I weighed 155-160 lbs at a size 10.
