I definitely want to read responses to this. I'm getting close to goal myself and do Zumba three times a week, which I do NOT want to give up.

That is just crazy awesome! Definitely a testament to your dedication! WTG!!

Every single night since I started, I eat a Greek yogurt /in/ bed while reading. Sometimes, like last night, I'll even have a couple/few vanilla wafers or some such. Still losing weight. ;)

Yesterday, I was in a second hand store and saw THE cutest blouse. I tried it on and it was a little tight, but I bought it anyway, because I knew I might not have a shot at it later. Definitely a goal shirt. I can't wait to wear it. :)

I just had to go buy a new bra today. :) I started at 42DD; I'm now at 38C. I would normally be thrilled to death, but unfortunately at my age, the old gals just aren't looking too great. :ohwell:

A couple weekends ago, the family went river bank fishing for the entire day... seven or eight hours of walking up and down a rocky, wooded bank only standing in one spot casting for about five minutes before moving on.... well, I can tell you, I was exhausted! I logged it, but I don't eat most of my calories back, so…

I'm in a stage of transition myself. I've always hidden behind the fat. I'm a shy person anyway, but being fat buried anything inside me that I felt was valuable. My self-worth, though independent of the fat, was/is connected to it. As I've slimmed down, I started gaining my confidence back. I'm beginning to be more…

Oh! My license says I'm 33lbs heavier than I am now. And I believe I was actually another 20lbs heavier than what it says when I got it! I should get another one. ><

Those look so good! Saving this for later. :)

<-- Most of my life. :)

I agree with Brizoeller, you don't /have/ to exercise to lose weight, particularly if you have a lot to lose. I'd say about half of my own weight loss was strictly diet and no exercise. (I'm currently exercising only twice a week.) So right now, I'd say focus on your diet... weigh and measure everything; keeping within…

I've been doing Zumba twice a week for several months now. (LOVE IT!) Our class is about 50 minutes long and my chest strap HRM says that I burn 510 on average. My personal burn record is a bit over 600. A full hour would, I'm guessing, put me well into the 600-700 range. (If I eat any of my exercise calories back,…

That's so awesome! Go you!! Whenever I see a "big" person out walking or jogging, I always think, "Good for you!" We all have to start somewhere and the fact you're out there is terrific! :D I'd love to do C25K, but all I do is run through my list of excuses. ><

I just started Zumba a few months ago and it's been the best thing in my weight loss journey I could've done. I'm very, very thankful for it. It's crazy fun. The instructor is awesome. She takes time after class if you have trouble with any moves and goes to any new people during the routine to personally walk them through…

At my high school reunion three years ago, it was commented I looked great because I didn't have any wrinkles. Now... 60+lbs lighter, I have wrinkles on my face, especially when I smile. I've noticed this in others as well. But I'll take the wrinkles if they come with a slimmer body. ^___^

That is soooo amazing!! Congrats!!

I have over 400 mugs in my collection and you want me to choose?
-
I'm one hundred percent exactly right with you. I've dropped so much, yet sometimes I can only see the "how much I have yet to lose". All we can do is keep moving forward. I know for sure I do not want to go back.

So amazing! If it wasn't for your tattoos, I'd have sworn those photos were two different people. Your attitude and dedication is an inspiration. Thanks for sharing!

I have that too. Mine's sort of split down the middle as well, so I have two bumps that U over my belly button. Mine's gone down over time, but like you said, you can't spot reduce, so all we can do is keep at it and it'll come off eventually. Believe me, though, I know how frustrating it is. Edit: I just read you don't…

I'm a wholehearted supporter. Feel free to add me. :)

I cycle between cycling and flat allotment. It busts through those little plateaus every time. I use the zig-zag calculator on shapefit.com (I found it doing a Google search.)

I actually stock piled the Limited Edition Hot Chocolate ones from this past December. I have a box and a half left. I can't squeeze in the calories all the time, but oooo! when I do! Those are my favorite! And now I see there is a new LE - Red Velvet?! I hope I can find these... I'll probably stock pile those too.

Mine seems to be top down. I have nothing left on my neck, shoulders, and across my chest, also my hands. I hope it starts moving down and leaving my waist/hips/thighs and upper arms soon. >.>

As much as it sucks, do it. Later on, you'll be very glad you did. All the fabulous, motivational success story posts... they wouldn't have nearly as much impact without those before/after photos. ;) I take a photo once a month in the same outfit. I hate it and dread it every time, but seeing my body slowly change shape is…

I'm 40 and haven't missed a day on MFP yet. I'd be happy to have new friends. :)
-
That is crazy awesome! Thanks for posting; you truly are an inspiration!

If I remember correctly, I took it before I found MFP, so around April or first part of May 2012.

I don't talk about the whys, but I was taken to a psychologist as a child. He pushed too hard and forever etched in my being an extreme distrust of men and any kind of councilor, therapist, etc. I've learned to function thanks to my mom's unconditional love, but in the back of my mind, I'm always questioning everyone's…

1. 5' 9" I'm not comfortable divulging my weight at this time; suffice it to say, I have /plenty/ to lose. 2. No, not at all. I aim for 1200 - 1350, but most days it's between 1300 - 1350, (family holiday gatherings don't count. ;) ). I eat plenty! Before I started, I ate as much as I wanted, whenever I wanted, so of…
