Hi Di I got one for xmas and love it - It really makes me move more to achieve my daily goals - steps, flights of stairs etc. I use it hand in hand with my HRM which is better for things like the elliptical, or treadmill. Also you can add your friends on the fitbit website and its quite motivating when you see a pal…

I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein as it was recommended by a personal trainer. I have only tried the Double Rich Chocolate and it is delicious. Got it on Amazon on promotion.

I am so pleased to announce that I graduated today! Yay! When I started back in July I struggled to run 1.5 mins and couldn't believe I would ever make it to W9! W5D3 was the milestone that made me believe I could actually do it. I am now going to continue running and try and improve my speed and distance. This programme…

Sometimes, but actually most things seem to work ok for me. I scanned my dinner tonight and it was all ok - saved a heap of time searching and logging :)

Hello from Perth! Nice to see a few local lassies on here! I've been doing this since May and lost a stone and a half. I love MFP, prefer it so much more than WW. Especially like the phone app with the barcode scanner. Good luck with your goals and feel free to add if you would like cheering on :)

I hate E-readers in principle - give me the smell and feel of a real book any day! But I grudgingly admit that I like them in practice! Having been on holiday and able to take multiple books that take up no room is worth the loss of sensation. I use Kindle on my ipad and iphone and love the way it syncs to my latest…

Huge pig fan! I love this miniature piglet getting a coffee - I want to be a mini me!

Wow! Your weight loss is great, and I'm so impressed with your new toned body. Can you share what exercise you did to achieve it? :))
-
Agreed. These are my absolute favourites ! Haven't found anything nicer

Hi I'm on W6D2. I can honestly say its the hardest but the best thing I have done since joining MFP. But feel it kickstarted my weightloss. Happy to offer support if you want to add me :)

Basically its a program designed to get you running 5K in 9 weeks, but you can take it at your own pace and it might take a little longer if you need to repeat days/weeks but that's OK. You start off on week one with a 5 minute warm up walk and then you alternate a jog for one minute and a walk for 90 seconds for the next…

Hi I'm on C25K W5D3 and have found that it has been helping me to lose weight. Before I started I was losing an average of 1lb a week but since starting C25K i've lost 8lbs and have had two holidays during that time. I'm 47 and had never been a runner and to start with I thought I was going to die just running 1.5 mins…

Hi Rocketgirl and welcome. You have made a good start by joining MFP an your exercise programme will definitely help. I've been on here for 12 weeks and have lost 14lbs and ideally would like to lose another stone. But I want to do it in a healthy sustainable way, more of a lifestyle change that I can stick to. I like…

Just signed up - thanks LessofMe for the reminder :)) Lost 14.4 over the two rounds. Hope to do even better this time. Thanks Helen for keeping it going x

9lbs Round 1 and 5lbs Round 2 (hols!) so 14 in total. Bring on round 3 :))

Lemony Snicket A series of Unfortunate Events is brilliant. Also anything by Michael Morpurgo, especially War Horse and Born to Run. My two are older now and like the Malorie Blackman Noughts and Crosses Trilogy, but that might be a bit old for them :)

Congrats! That's a huge achievement. I did w5d1 today and felt great until I realised D2 was different :0

Just bought this from The Book Club online for £4.99 + postage and it is great. Can't wait to try the pies - have not had a pie in years!
-
Absolutely! The support you get is great and I get inspired by others achievements, which motivates me to do more.

He was so delighted to get bronze! Well done Tom - I'm sure he's on for gold in 2016 :))

Firstly - Congratulations on your loss - it is just stunning! I agree with the above - try not to let one pair of trousers put you off. How about GAP or M&S? Their web sites usually tell you the fit eg High rise , which you could then look for on ebay, or you might get something in one of their sales :)

Hi Just for some inspiration for your next read you could join this group on MFP: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/477-when-i-m-not-on-mfp-i-m-reading :)

Tuna, Eggs, lean meat and chicken, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and lower fat cheese. My macros are 40/30/30 which I find manageable and I try to eat most of my carbs in the morning and afternoon and hardly any in the evening to give me energy for the day.

Hi I use Your Shape for Kinnect and it is brilliant. Especially the Boot camp! I also love the cardio boxing and the Wall Breaker. I use it with a HRM so I know the exact calories burned - it is always higher than what it says on the Xbox - Yay!

Would love to be in - if anyone still needs a team member :)
