  • I know it sounds odd, but you could eat fish for breakfast. You can even add eggs and veggies. This will give you plenty of protein, and sustain you, without all the fat. It takes getting used to, but it's definitely a healthy route to take. Lucy :)
  • It's not just you. I loved that show when Charlie was on it, but now it's just boring. Walden is a dud, Berta is annoying, and Alan is just creepy. It's not even funny anymore.
  • Welcome! It does take work, and commitment, to log everything every day, but it is worth it. As you said, it is an eye opener. It gives you visibility to what is actually going in your body, and accountability. I would recommend setting your diary up to take advantage of all six categories, just choose what is important to…
  • Oh my gosh, how awful. It actually brought tears to my eyes reading that, to be reminded that people can be so mean and brutal to an innocent person. I am so sorry for him. Just be there for him, be on his side and sure pamper him a bit, without over fussing. And I agree, he should report it to the police. All the best to…
  • Well done! You look amazing -- and cute! :) Keep up the great work!!! Lucy :)
  • Thank you all for your support!
  • You look beautiful! Lucy :)
  • I use one. I just make up my own 'routines' to music. Sometimes I use small barbells. I throw in some upper body boxing moves, twists, jumps, jogging...I just mix it up to make it fun. If you have a DVD, that's great, too. I googled it, and am using 17 calories burned every 10 minutes --- or 206 for an hour. Have fun with…
  • I'm an avid fan...but honestly I can't say I noticed! He's so HOT I think I have been too busy drooling....I'll have to check it out this week! Lucy :)
  • Yep, Fishtail.
  • Hi! I've been trying to lose the same 7 pounds for a while now! lol ... I am getting more tone and tight tho' and want to keep going on this path! Feel free to add me .... but I only keep friends who are active and communicate, that's why my friends list is so small. I would rather get to know less people well and cheer…
  • Yay! Welcome, Mark!! Great site and people! You need to add some friends to support you and cheer you on! You can start with me if you want, just send me a Friend Request! Lucy :)
  • Great job -- you look fantastic! Lucy :)
  • Tall -- 6'3"-6'5" Dark Hair (although my hubby is bald and I certainly wouldn't kick Jax from SOA to the curb -- lol) Big build -- 200 plus lbs Nice smile, and smiles from the eyes as well as the mouth -- any color eyes, but I like green/hazel
  • You really realize how bad that type of food is and how horribly it effects your bod once you've been eating clean for a bit and go back. Sorry you had to learn that way on your BDay! But congrats on fitting in the hot little dress -- and Happy Birthday! Lucy :)
  • 'ONLY' 39 pounds?! That's fantastic! Be proud of yourself, you are amazing...and you are looking great. Keep it up!!! Lucy :)
  • You're beautiful! Congratulations on the loss and on ONEDERLAND -- that's awesome! Keep up the great work! Lucy :)
  • I totally agree -- pictures. Also, get a goal item of clothing, such as jeans. Try them on at every milestone and see how much closer they are to fitting. While you're at it, try on the jeans you started out in, and see how much bigger they are getting! :) And keep it up -- you're doing GREAT!!! Lucy :)
  • No, but I would absolutely love to! I definitely have some super cool pals that would be amazing to meet. I think a great big meet-up somewhere would be so cool. We could work out and eat healthy food! :) Lucy :)
  • That's wonderful! And a healthy BMI is a big deal...don't discount it, it was an amazing goal to set and reach. 41 pounds!!! Awesome!!! Keep up the great work! Lucy :)
  • Turkey burgers. Definitely add some spices. I like Cumin a lot, with some pepper and garlic powder. I also add in a dash of Trader Joe's Sweet Chili Sauce for flavor and to make it moist. I take my "burger" and put it in a iceberg lettuce leaf, with some mustard, heirloom tomato slices, cucumber slices, avocado and a slice…
  • I am in the same boat. Was a Vegetarian for a long time, and have now started introducing fish, chicken and turkey back into my diet. No red meat for me, and all fowl is free range/hormone free. I eat eggs, peanut butter, nuts, low fat cottage cheese (limited -- sodium!) -- also Luna and Think Thin bars, and occasionally…
  • I used to eat Almond Butter, but I found that I like Peanut Butter better. I eat only the 'grind yourself' peanut butter from Whole Foods or Raley's...that way it's only peanuts and no other additives. Peanut Butter is not bad in moderation. Better 'N Peanut Butter is indeed yummy, but it's more like dessert and has a lot…
  • Great job --- and you don't even look like you're 220, you look way smaller than that! Keep it up!! Lucy :)
  • Make sure you are wearing a curvy cut or a boy cut. That may help. Lots of retailers are gearing their styles toward this now. Gap and Old Navy have some pretty good curvy jeans and boy cut jeans, so does Levis. You might try American Eagle, too.
  • You bring tears to my eyes EVERY time I see your transformation. You are such an inspiration to so many people, and I am so proud of you! Yay beautiful you!!! Lucy :) xo
  • Yes, I have Hashi's as well. Feel free to add me, too! Lucy :)
  • Hi. Good job on your progress thus far. I took a look at your diary. Perhaps try cutting out/or down on the processed foods. Chips, Jimmy Dean, Lean Pockets. Even pizza is not going to help if you are really serious about losing the weight, save this for a once in a while treat. Track sodium -- these and the soups, ham,…
  • You are not a failure because you HAVE started! By joining this site and writing this post. By looking at that treadmill in your loungeroom and knowing you need to get on it. Don't look at it as this big, overwhelming thing you have to conquer. It's a lot of little steps that lead up to a series of completing goals, and…
  • I think she meant it to be helpful. A personal note might have made it a little more warm and fuzzy, but I think her intention was just to get some information across. If you read 6 and 8, they actually are relevant.
