Getting fit/losing weight is about a lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle includes balance, not just focusing on food and working out. It is okay to breathe and take a moment to have a fun topic, it is a stress reliever which does in fact help with weight loss :)

This is Bodhi. He is four and a half months. He is a Malti-Poo Chi. He is about 5 pounds. He usually has pretty wavy hair, but he just came from the groomer for his first puppy cut, and they blew it straight. He is so loved, and a little spoiled for sure. He loves chasing our 15 pound cat around the house, visiting the…

Hi. I'm Lucy. I was diagnosed with Hashi's about eight years ago. I was put on Levothyoxine and noticed an improvement within a week. For the following several years, I was pretty stable. I had no issues with weight gain, or any other symptoms. At one point all of my symptoms returned, and I felt exactly as I had before…

Ted Nugent: Intensities in Ten Cities tour. Pat Traverse Band opened for them. Think it must have been around 1980?

Great job on the loss and the hips...but don't forget to give that teeny, tiny waist some props, too! ;)

I am the Finance/Human Resources Director for a mineral mining company. I also work in a restaurant as a server part-time, do some political consulting projects on a as needed basis, and do marketing and event coordination for the West Coast Brew Fest (seasonal). My future goals are to be a drug and alcohol interventionist…

I am currently a 4, with some 2's I can wear. I used to be a 0-2. I would be happy with a consistent 2. But am learning to accept myself at a 4. Lucy :)

Plain greek yogurt with TJ's unsweetened coconut milk, fresh berries, a spoon of peanut butter and some protein powder in the blender. Otherwise I also usually use it to sub for sour cream, on a baked potato, etc.

This is the definition of Sedentary: 1. characterized by or requiring a sitting posture: a sedentary occupation. 2. accustomed to sit or rest a great deal or to take little exercise. Since you are on your feet at work, do cleaning at work at home...I would say lightly active. Lucy :)

Air Force Brat and husband is Navy Reserves 12 years. I love military peeps ... thanks to all of you who have served/are serving, you are awesome! Lucy :)

Well done! You look amazing. And, btw, the first thing I noticed about you...even in your before pic, was your smile. You are beautiful! Lucy :)

I like my arms. I love making muscles to see the definition that I get from yoga and weight training...lol. Also my obliques and area around the rib cage, and I have pretty good legs. At 45, I have gotten curvier with age and working out, whereas I used to be skinny, so now I am trying to embrace my curves and appreciate…

i like the unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Although, ever since I discovered Trader's Joe unsweetened coconut milk, I prefer it. However, since I still have a case of the former that I purchased at Costco, I alternate and enjoy both of them. I agree with the posters who don't drink cow's milk because of the hormones,…

My eight year sobriety birthday is in two days on February 14th and I love my happy, healthy life without alcohol. My hang overs were pretty gnarly when I was drinking, so it's awesome to know I will never feel like that again! Lucy :)

For great support: i absolutely LOVE the TaTa Tamers II by Lululemon. This bra give you a really nice shape and hold the girls in place -- and no uni-boob. It comes with thin padded inserts for shaping, which you can remove if you don't like the extra padding The straps are really comfortable and don't dig in and the bra…

From what I see, way too much processed food. Lower carbs and sugar. I think you are focused so much on calories, but they need to be the right calories. Fresh veggies and lean proteins, lower fructose/high fiber fruits (berries, apples, kiwi). Whole grains: quinoa, spelt. You can actually eat more with less processed…

I did it, too, but with a twist. My husband and I were separated, but still friends and living in the same house -- separate bedrooms. Okay, not everyone can do this, but we were buds and still got a long very well, even though there was no chance of remaining married. After some months of this I told him I wanted to start…

I've never worn it so I can't vouch for how it works, but I have seen it at Target. They carry Spanx AND their own brand for much less. Lucy :)

Funny enough I was at the oral surgeon's today and they had a heart monitor on me. Mine ranged from 49-54, but jumped all the way up to high fifties when they brought the needle out! The dental technician said I likely have a low resting heart rate since I work out a lot and do yoga. Lucy :)

It depends what type of yoga practice you do. Mainly it will tone and define. I do Vinyasa power yoga, and Bikram is great, too, those styles of yoga will burn more calories. I have definitely noticed great definition in my arms, legs and core, and it's great for a yoga bootie, too! :) Plus you will learn a greater…

WTG! Great accomplishment, and attitude! Lucy :)
