I'm on mirtazapine for migraine prevention and it's a total life saver. I've gained weight but I'd rather be well and overweight than in excruciating pain, vomiting and not sleeping. I've tried lots of other preventatives but none of them worked for me so here I am. Anyway, I tried to come off it and got slammed with…

I'm on mirtazapine for migraine prevention and have put on 13kg now. I disgust myself but I'm mostly migraine free. I am coming off it soon though so maybe weight loss will happen then. Wish me luck.

Ok, I googled. Looks like your legs and knees have to be actively involved in that mental form of exercise, unfortunately.

Oatcakes, rye crackers, spelt crackers, peanut butter from spoon.

I love kale orzotto ( risotto with barley instead of rice), there are plenty of recipes online.

LOVE dark chocolate. I'm vegan so any other kind of chocolate seems wrong! Lindt is good and so is Green and Black's. The best, though, (in the UK), is the stuff you get in Lidl. Extremely cheap and extremely good. JD Gross for the flavoured ones, and Bellarom for the plain 74%. I have a square or two every night, again…

I don't do gyms. I have health problems too and the idea of a gym fills me with horror. I hate going INDOORS to exercise too apart from swimming. I walk everywhere I can, more at weekends and days off than on weekdays, especially in winter. What about cycling, gets you somewhere and burns calories? I enjoy occasional yoga…

I get migraines if I get very hot so most intensive cardio is out for me. Are they migraines? I stick to swimming and outdoor walking.

Glasgow here. I'm a vegan though so up to you! Diary's open.

I rarely use foundation but when I do it's either Urban Decay or Lily Lolo mineral foundation. I used to use MAC mineral concealer but now they're testing on animals for China I'll probably try something from Urban Decay.

I can't blow off the wedding, but I could run a bit late to the reception...

I used to hide behind the sofa from THE MUSIC, the Daleks were nothing compared to the terrifying theme tune.

1st September? Dammit. I'm going to a wedding.

And sorry, my favourite villains are the CYBERMEN.

Today I'll stay on track because I want to be comfortable in jeans again soon.

I LOVE Doctor Who. More than is seemly. When's it back?

I'm afraid I have no idea. I went cycling for the first time on a borrowed bike club bike yesterday. My knees are fine but my bum hurts! I hope someone can help you. I shall watch the topic with interest.

Glasgow, Scotland, hello!

I eat too much fruit, but the only veg there can be too much of in my opinion is the delicious chip!

Scotland.

Another suggestion: get waterproofs, really good ones, and get outside whatever the weather. It's good for you! I realise I am probably a bit freakish in that I don't mind heavy rain, cold, wind at all. I'm more likely to complain when it's sunny!

"Special" trainers don't work for me, my feet are VERY complicated. The only comfy shoes I have are flexible clogs. Waiting to try MBTs out in the specialist footwear shop, but they're really expensive.

I weigh myself once a week. More often than that might be disheartening as there are daily fluctuations.

Hey, I have bad feet too (rheumatoid arthritis). There's no way I can run but walking I can do most of the time. My ambition is to find shoes that allow me to do Zumba and DANCE !
-
I'm in Scotland too. I walk to work and back every day (4 day week), so that's 8 per week without even thinking. Could you factor something like that in?
-
Hi, fellow Scottish member, just added you!

I'm on mirtazipine for migraine prophylaxis and put on 7kg in about 7 weeks. I'm here to try and curb my appetite and get back in my clothes!

Hi! I was diagnosed with R.A. in my teens and I'm now in my 40s. I also suffer from severe migraine. Exercise is so hard and my main problems are with hands and feet. I have a huge problem with a big toe which means I need "special" footwear and live my life in flexi clogs as they help but I'd love to join a Zumba class…
