We use a escali daily. As well as measuring cups on our veggies, soups, stews ect.... It will keep you on track.

I walk around the outside building at work, 15 minutes before clocking in, then again on my last break. Hubby has added walking on weekends to 5 miles in our weight loss. It'll keep you limber and enjoy the scenery.

I have a open food journal for others to see what I am eating. Any questions just ask. Mine is also open so that my sis-in-law has other options by seeing what we eat.

My BMI weight is 140, I think I would look like a bag of bones. Going for 160-165 lbs which I weighed 21 years ago. I am already at 175.4 lbs. started out at 225 lbs in July 2012.

I was eating 1350 calories and walking everyday and hungrier by end of work day, I increase to 1400.

Good way hubby and I get our walk in as we search for the clues and treasure.

The food scale, measuring cups and measuring spoons. The tools I use to measure and portion control my foods.

Since I started counting calories I no longer drink regular soda and on occasion the diet stuff. Went from sugar to sugar alternative. No longer cook with oil but cooking spray. It was dark giving up the soda, but the calories for a cup was AWFUL! Small changes make a big difference.

I'm going through menopause and have managed to lose 41 lbs since I started watching my calories and exercising more since july 2012. Since you are going through menopause, don't forget your thyroid. Understand that will go to hell now that you have reached menopause. Using HRT and still losing weight.

Our 4-legged fur ball (Akita/chow/Heinz 57) eats Layall's lamb & rice. And occasional treats.

I started out at 1500 calories and ended up with calories left over. Dropped down to 1350 calories which is working good. Remember to add some form of exercise. I enjoy walking.

I use a digital scale and weigh out our cooked meats. If it under the required weight amount then add another veggie.

Hubby and I are childfree. Been married 14 years. I was 14 years old when my parents realized 6 people (2 adults and 4 kids) could not survive on one paycheck. Both parents worked, since I was the oldest and parents couldn't afford daycare for the 2 youngest, I was responsible for myself, a sister 1 1/2 years youngest,…

A new Wii exercise video or Fitbit. Healthy gifts to keep me on my weight loss journey.

New clothes and stay on course with my goal weight. Not venture off the 'eating' path by too much.
-
Sugar free jello which is 5 calories for 1/2 cup and 10 calories with fat free whip cream. Air popped popcorn with ICBINB (I an't believe it's not butter)spray.
-
Not to deprive ourselves of foods we love, we choose 1 meal a month (usually dinner) as a "free" calorie meal. Rewarding ourselves for our weight loss goals and staying within our calories.
-
Sugar free jello 10 calories per 1/2 cup and fat free whip cream 20 calories per 2 tbsp. Special K cereal bars are 90 calories
-
The eggs in the French toast is 1/2 cup egg beaters. No oil just cooking spray. The syrup is sugar free for a 1/4 cup. Hubby is doing great. He posted a success story as well yesterday.

Thanks. Saw the photo and looked delicious. I will try for breakfast tomorrow. I'm sure egg beaters would work great as well instead of regular eggs.
