I'm glad I found this thread, I absolutely love Just Dance 3! :D

I don't wear any... never cared for it really.

Same here.

2-3 times a week. As heavy as I can. A lot - enough to properly fuel my body and my workouts. I try to net between 1,800-2,000 calories per day, but eat upwards of 2,000-2,600 calories (I eat all of my exercise calories). I have lost (a lot of) weight as I am still running a calorie deficit. Eventually I'd like to…

The best combination are the ones that you enjoy and will go to.

I don't know. Let me know when you figure it out.

I guess they weren't kidding when they said the last 10 lbs are hard to lose. Although my scale weight hasn't changed, my body fat % has dropped slightly and I've lost 2 inches since my weight last changed... so good things are happening. :) Current Weight: 178 Challenge Goal Weight: 170 09/05: 182 09/12: 179.6 09/19:…

At first I just didn't want to feel so uncomfortable in my own skin anymore or suffer from the health problems that I was having at the age of only 26. However, somewhere along the way, I transitioned to actually wanting to be healthy and improving my overall fitness.

1-4 about sums it up. A past like that wouldn't bother me at all so long as it was in the past. However, I would have an issue with someone I was interested in dating being unemployed and living at home by choice at this stage of my life. I would literally run because I'd be afraid of turning into the new caretaker or…

I love Whole Foods, but it is quite expensive overall. Some of their bulk bin items, 365 brand, and dried legumes, rice, and beans are very reasonably priced... but if I had to shop there for everything, I'd be broke. I prefer Trader Joe's since they have a great organic selection and are far more reasonably priced.

My Home >> Check-In >> Change Measurements You can add the categories that you want to keep track of there. I have neck, bicep, forearm, chest, waist, hips, thigh, calf, body fat %. You can keep track of whatever works for you there. :)

I bike commute. Obviously this may not be an option for everyone, but it's a great option for me. It saves me a lot of time and allows me to be done with my exercise by the time I get home.

My best advice is to learn to love them.

kcthatsme - I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well this week. I hope you feel better soon. :( Pam - I always eat my exercise calories, but that's what works well for me. I'm very interested in increasing my strength and endurance, so I'm always trying to properly fuel my workouts. I find that I just simply…

I'm 178 lbs and 5'11". I net between 1800-2000 calories a day and I eat anywhere between 2,000-2,600 calories a day. I eat back all of my exercise calories.

There's nothing wrong with being that active - just listen to your body if it tells you that you need to rest or if it's injured. Otherwise, go for it. I will echo the sentiments of some of the other posters though... your intake seems low for your activity level. I weigh less than you and my activity level is very similar…

Great job ladies, keep up the hard work! And thanks again kcthatsme for all that you do for us. :flowerforyou:

Same weight, 179.6 lbs.

I'm the same weight. :) I've been good all week, but of course that doesn't always reflect in the scale... which is fine by me. It's still reflected in tape measurements and my pants fitting better, so I'm happy with that! Current Weight: 179.6 Challenge Goal Weight: 170 09/05: 182 09/12: 179.6 09/19: 179.6 09/26: 10/03:…

I cannot express how much I simply love this. I've been slowly regaining my awesome. :flowerforyou: In other news, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I just got hired for a job in my field of study, however it's only limited hours until January... so I can't yet afford to quit my current job. So I'll be going to school…

I disagree with everything said above or below this post!

It's not dumb at all. I still feel self-conscious in the free weights section of the gym, but it does get a little better each time I go and I'm slowly building more confidence. And congrats on the jackknifes, that's no easy feat! :flowerforyou: Happy Birthday, iduaria! Any fun plans for today? :)

I failed on sleep last night. I stayed up late to study after my classes and work last night, but on the good side... I know I did well on my exam this morning. :) Normally I'm pretty good about getting enough sleep since I know how important it is to my overall health/well-being, and needless to say... I'm dragging pretty…

That says she was powerlifting though. Powerlifting is quite different from my understanding; a powerlifter performs three reps (or a very low amount) of a certain exercise. Whereas in the first stage of NROL, for example, you're doing 2 sets of 15 repetitions of squats... so 30 squats vs 3 squats if you were powerlifting.…
