  • The Eat Clean Diet... it isn't really about dieting, just about making better choices and what your body does with sugar and things like that. So informative
  • I've been doing Chalene Extreme at home and have has amazing results (I can share pics if you are interested). I really like having a program to follow along with and she is great about teaching you proper form
  • I'm glad some people could relate to my emotions! It is a struggle and I want anyone starting out to know that they are not alone when they get frustrated with their slow progress
  • Don't get discouraged! It is so easy to focus on the negative. Stick with it and you will be so glad you did :)
  • I am glad I inspired you! PLEASE take before pictures!!! You will be so glad you did! I would not notice the drastic changes in muscle definition without the side-by-side comparison. It is so easy to focus on all the things I still hate about my body, but this picture helps me put that into perspective
  • Thank you! Not sure why it cut off the picture, but you get the point :)
  • I use liquid stevia in mine and it has helped me tremendously. I still have a cup with flavored creamer once in a while, but I enjoy black coffee w/ stevia way more than I ever thought I would. I also bought better quality flavored coffee and that made a huge difference
  • Milk of Magnesia helped me when I was really backed up and starting to get worried. I wouldn't recommend that as a regular remedy, but it certainly worked as a 1 time fix. (Note, I was really having a hard time going despite eating a ton of fiber, plenty of good fat, and coffee every day) Now I take digestive enzymes daily…

  • I made my own hybrid as well because I didn't feel like the ones I found online were intense enough. Most days I did both programs, except when I did Burn Intervals bc that has enough cardio in it so I would make sure to do core or abs that day.
  • When I hit my 1st plateau I made a commitment to start eating more often. I broke my calorie intake up into 5 meals a day instead of 3. If you eat more regularly your metabolism will speed up. Also, how is your water intake? If you are not hitting 8 glasses of pure water a day, I would recommend setting that as your 1st…
  • I really enjoyed "The Eat Clean Diet" Easy to follow and a lot of simple, good advice
  • I bought the selecttech weights. 2 weeks into PUSH and I am already using the 35lbs weights.
  • I lost 40lbs during my 1st round of TF. Also lost 4" off my wasit, 3 from the hips. 3 from each thigh, and dropped my body fat % by 6% The moves get much easier as you get used to the workouts. Stick with it!!
  • I'm from Charlotte too! So many of us :D Feel free to add me if you want buddies! Would love to have more people in the area to be active with!
  • Do it!! You may hate what you see now, but most of us did in the beginning too. If you are really worried about being discouraged by them, have someone take the pictures and don't look at them for a month (or until you are ready to take your next round of progress pictures). When I am frustrated with the scale, I just look…
  • The polar chest straps are very comfortable. You don't even realize you are wearing it. They have a small electronic device that snaps on to the strap and it communicates wirelessly with your watch. I would not recommend getting a HRM without a chest strap. They are not nearly as accurate. The chest strap will take a…
  • I would try to have a slightly smaller lunch. Keep meals under 500 calories. You should also try to cut down your sugar a little bit (avoid the juice if you can!). Instead of tater tots, could you be happy with a side salad or veggie of some sort? Or sweet potato fries? Dinner looks great! Are you getting at least 8 cups…
  • When I started TF my heart rate was always in the high 170s (I weighed 240ish at the time). As I got better and lost weight, it now stays in the high 150s, and pushes up to about 165 when I am doing Fire drills. I notice that I recover from the intense workouts so much faster though. I don't think it is bad for you to be…
  • I started Chalean Extreme last week. I bought the adjustable BowFlex weights to use with this program and I love them so far. My body loves lifting weights and I am so glad to be doing it again. I finished 12 weeks of TurboFire on 11/25 and started my hybrid on 11/26
  • HAHAHA best one yet! These responses are all fantastic :)
  • I'm totally interested! And willing to help with planning if you need anything :)
  • I'm in! Finished my 1st 12 weeks of TF on Sunday and started a TF/Chalean Extreme hybrid on Monday. I love TurboFire!!
  • Week 8!! Down 20 lbs and 2.5 inches off my waist :) Would love some new friends!
  • You should change your diary settings to track sugar intake. When I wasn't losing weight and started looking at sugar in my diet, I was SHOCKED! I cut back a lot and have been slowly and steadily dropping the pounds. Might be a good place to start making small changes.
  • I took Dr. prescribed pills a few years ago and lost a very significant amount of weight on them. Once I stopped taking them it was very hard to stay focused and I eventually gained weight back (almost half). They are a great "quick fix" but you will suffer in the long run by taking them. If you are already eating right…
  • Do you have enough iron in your diet?
  • TurboFire took an inch off each thigh and 1.5 off my waist in the 1st month :)
  • I did Sculpt 30 this morning for the 1st time and hated it. I couldn't even do 1 bowlers lunge without falling over. It was so awkward! I was also thinking about just using free weights next time. I think resistance bands are good for people who don't have a lot of experience strength training, but I am way more…
