  • Hi, Thanks for talking the time to give such an indepth answer.I like you over 22 years have had periods of being a lot better.Yet Your right its still there.I did see a therapist many years ago and since then I have had a few referals for NHS help but then not gone.So really its been a battle I've faced alone.
  • Thanks for taking the time to respond.Maybe my perception of recovery was to go back to being 'normal'...Maybe this is the way im going to be sometimes better than others. oh to wake one day and not care..to be able to eat if I want to.To not panic every time .I feel like its eating my life up....
  • I think I need to explain...callenetics is strenght training. I gain muscle really easily and can bulk up so i dont like how that looks..I find callenetics creates great shape ..it suits me ..thats done at least three times a week for an hour. • This is an interesting subject. For many years I suffered with eating too little..Had an eating disorder. So I think we must try any remember where people come from or find out before judging. for me just to eat at first was great whatever it was. I also think it is a journey. Some people can be crushed with words. It is…
  • Hey hun, you dont' Have to do anything. Yet I must say that exercise is a great mood and mind medication. The benefits are way more thanweight loss. It doesn't matter what you do even walking further to work parking the car round the courner or getting of the bus earlier etc. It is easy to fit into your day even if you do…
  • I am now following EM2WL.I have changed my view since here..I am eating a lot more now.
  • Oh hun.It will pass. Try to stay positive.Really not eating for a few days is not good. If you eat anything try and make it high calorie just so you get something.Even a milk shake or hot choccy.I always luv a hot choc when I feel down. I hope you feel better soon.x

  • I used to eat very low. My net cals were always 600-800..bad. Didn't loose this last time .So now I am doing a metabolism rest.I'm up to BMR which is 1400..I' heading for TDEE.Like someone said I will never recommend low cals again. I intend to do what the first person said TDEE -15%. 1200 kcals is not even most peoples…
  • If your doing a reset..weight gain will happen!! I'm sorry I struggle every day with this.Yet A life living in ED and under my BMR has worn thin I cant imagine another year of this behavior for myself.I have to expect my body to gain. But the idea that I will loose properly is appealing. hope you r ok x
  • Why dont you just keep increasing by a 100 a week and see how you get on..I am increasing by 100 a day till I get to 1750 then I will increase by 50 per week till I get to TDEE.I dont trust numbers ..I am not average so will need to play it by ear.I think kiki said she increased by 100 a week and took it slowly. So if you…
  • cos i dont work i find the activity level confusing. I have done the scooby thing.I dont have a desk job. my job is sedentary. yet i work out a lot. I didn't think walking and working out would make up for the other 20hours i do newt. Thanks everyone

  • Hey Moss and Kels. Thanks so much for your posts. It is very encouraging. Kels I am going to read your journey now,I needed to hear from people like myself..Needed to know that it can work.
  • I have read those posts and also watched a lot of youtube stuff.Dont think I could go too much over where I am at now. To gain MORE weight would mortify me.I think I need to hear more testimonies from people who haven't been massivly over weight before at my heaviest I was 147.So the ides that I will gain weight is…
  • It is a learning curve I believe every person is unique in their own way.Personally I wont eat back exercise cals. I am playing around with numbers I go between 900-1400.If you want to eat more but feel full go for the higher cal foods. etc.You will soon c if you need those extra cals x
  • Hi I'm 5ft 5.5inch.That half an inch is very important to me lol. I weigh 138lbs 9st12.I find it very difficult to shift that last 10lbs so I must eat 1200 no more. and exercise like a loon. I have lost 8inch yet still weigh the same ...weird
  • Thanks hun..Its a nightmare. Long thick and crazy..Its like trying to tame a lion lol
  • I log absolutely everything..Its those un-logged cals that do the damage.we have tendencies to under estimate rather than over. If ya gonna drink log it and try keep within your RDA
