Take one day at a time. It's a journey! Also, don't be hard on yourself for one bad day, just be able to get back on track and overcome!

After all my weight loss, eating vegetarian M-F and eating low cholesterol in general my cholesterol still hovers around 250 (HDL of 69, LDL of 150ish, pre weight loss was also around 250). My genetics have failed me on this one and I am now on a statin because of it. Some changes can definitely help like lowering…

I eat 2 Honey Oat or Whole Wheat eggos with a bit of honey on top :) (and I think it's delicious!)

I use Jillian Michael's Shred it with Weights DVD with my Kettlebells :) So far seems effective!

I'm 5'2" so not sure if that counts :) My pictures are on my profile :)

The first step is deciding and committing to do it! You're already part of the way there :) Feel free to add me if you like :)

Thanks guys! I actually thought about swimming, I've never swam laps before and wasn't sure how to start haha. I'll have to look up the low impact videos and see if any of those will do! I think the problem with me substituting so much is I'm running out of ideas of things to substitute with. I'm probably just not being…

I actually weigh all my ice cream/fro yo out on a food scale :) It makes it easier to figure it out and no measuring cups needed!

I can see the "beginning" of what it's going to be like when I finally reach my goal weight. I've got some on my inner thigh and of course around my stomach. Not so much under by arms but I still have a good bit of "flab" hanging down. I know a lot of people see it as a terrible end result but I try to turn it positive.…

Make little goals for yourself :) Your ultimate goal is always important but small goals "10 lbs," "20 lbs," etc. will help keep you motivated along the way! Don't force yourself into a "time limit" if you can. Weight loss is interesting, sometimes it goes fast, sometimes it's a bit slower, as long as you stay in the right…

I've done Insanity 2.5 times and am OBSESSED with it :) I was told I would have to take a break from it last week (that's where the .5 comes from since I was done with month 1 again) from a podiatrist because all the pounding has made a mess of my poor feet (reason for getting GOOD strong shoes!). It's an awesome workout,…

Congratulations on reaching ONDERLAND! It's an amazing milestone and goal to reach! Can't wait to see your next success story when you hit your goal weight!

I'm not sure what I would do without my food scale! I live between 2 states and it actually travels with me EVERY weekend! I have the "Biggest Loser" scale from Bed Bath & Beyond. It's electronic, only $19.95 and does an amazing job. It helps me control my portions, I also think it's 100x easier to "measure things" in…

I remember the first day I ever completed 30DS and I could barely walk the next day :) It's a hot (worthwhile) mess! Biggest tip: Keep your eye on the prize. Understand this is a journey and not something that happens in a week. It's also a lifestyle change and not a fad diet :) You're welcome to add me. (I'm also a huge…

I'm 5'2" and started 5lbs heavier than your original :) Welcome to this amazing, inspiring, frustrating, fulfilling journey! Feel free to add me if you like.

This is AMAZING! I also saw you're from Greensboro, which is also pretty neat! (I'm from Kernersville) Can't wait to see the follow up post about how you BEASTED it!

I've decided when I hit 100 pounds lost I get to go to a running store and get professionally fitted running shoes :)

I'm a huge 30DS fan, but also LOVE Biggest Loser Cardio Max. It's an older DVD but still a great workout. I have previously done Insanity twice and still think BL Cardio Max higher intensity!!

Congratulations :) Welcome back to the world of being able to eat grapefruits!!!

English muffin drizzed with honey... yummmyyyyy!

I was over 200 when I started Insanity, and am now 167.... (with Insanity (2 rounds), I lost a total of 37ish pounds) My pictures are on my profile (both from rounds 1 and 2). I'm only 5'2" so may be a little different, but I still think it's completely doable and you should JUST DO IT :) You know dig deeper, it's…

I'm a 2x finisher of the program and am slightly obsessed. It's amazing!! Just wanted to say best of luck and DIG DEEPER :) !!!!!
-
I'm a huge Insanity fan :) (just make sure you know your limits and take breaks as needed -- as with any exercise program)
-
I'm a 2 time Insanity completer, and it's self called biggest fan :) My pictures show my results, in total in the two rounds I lost a little over 37 pounds. I also gained a crazy amount of endurance/strength! You're welcome to add me if you like :)

Your body is most likely just adjusting to a new routine and that gives you weird fluctuations. I'd give it some more time and not look too much at the numbers till closer to the end. Also, take measurements because sometimes the results are based on inches rather than pounds :) Keep with it, 30DS is an awesome workout :)

Different sources will say different things. Since you're body is having to work to replenish the blood you supposedly "burn calories." I've seen upwards of 400-600 (which is probably wayyyyy overestimated!). In general, don't try to log it, just look at is as good weight loss karma by saving lives with your donation :)…

You've started with an amazing thing by deciding to get "back on the wagon." Life always gets in the way, you just have to get back on and recommit :) Have you ever thought of arthritis friendly programs? Like swimming or the aqua-cise? (I used to do aqua in college and it was one of the best/funnest workouts i've ever…

Drinking lots of water may help.. You may also want to see your healthcare provider to make sure there is no underlying cause (other than being dehydrated due to working out so much).

Take before pictures (if you want the tshirt there are specific pictures you have to take), but you will be able to see the amazing results, and they will help you keep going! I think it's very addicting and challenging. Keep with it, don't quit, dig deeper, etc. It's an awesome workout, with awesome results. They don't…
