Hi Sato! I am Miles, a fellow trans man, 8 months on T. Was at the doctor today and after having lost over 115#, I am up 45 of those. Very stressed and trying to get motivated to get back on track. Any support is welcomed. Thanks!

FTM, 45 y.o., 3 days on T. Feel free to add me for support.

Hi guys, I am an FTM. Just started T on 12/28 and need to lose a good bit of weight. I have lost 112# in the past 13 months, but still want to lose another 100+. Wanting to build muscle since T assists in that regard, but am afraid to eat at maint calories lest I start gaining weight. I read an article on Word Press that…

Joining. I am always looking for more accountability as I am doing this exclusively online and on my own. Looking forward to making some new MFP friends. Thanks to my friend Molly for listing this challenge!

I completely understand how you feel, especially in regard to trying to relate to someone with 20# to lose. Oh to have that problem! LOL. But, we just need to break our 200+ down into 20# increments. We only have 20# to lose - just over and over again. We can do it! Here's to you and your mojo getting strong again!

Thanks so much Aztec4Life! Sounds like great advice!

Hey all. Just stopping by to see if anyone else has posted in this group.

Im still here too! Have been on WW since 11/29/16, but just started tracking here again 2 weeks ago. I feel like WWs has me eating too much, so thought it might be good to compare calories here vs. smart points on WW. Basically, I am double-logging right now while trying to decide whether to renew with WW for another month…

Hi all, just wondering if this group is still active? I used to be in an Over 40 Group here (a few years ago), but it seems to be inactive now. I have 200+ to lose (down 34# since 11/29/16) and looking for friends and support. Thanks!

Feel free to add me. I just recommitted to MFP and taking better care of myself last week. I want to lose well over 200, so I do understand the struggle. I have lost more than 100 on multiple occasions but always ended up going back to my old habits. This time, I will NOT let that happen. I am determined to live my life…

Hi all, I am MJ - 44 y.o. married with 2 fur babies. Have struggled with weight as long as I can remember. Have lost more than 100# on at least 2 occasions, but always fall back into old patterns of emotional eating. My Mother passed away in June after grieving the loss of my Dad for 9 1/2 years. I saw how miserable she…

I weigh foods after cooking so that I know the actual quantity I am consuming. But then, I never tried weighing veggies while they are frozen. I usually steam the entire bag (broccoli for instance indicates 4 1-cup servings). Then, I split the cooked veggies between my wife and me. When I track it here, I do 1/2 the…

So inspiring! I am starting just under where you were - 387.4 on January 6th! I have been a bit heavier before but managed to lose with MFP (right under 400), but a vacation to Florida threw me off my plan and I was not able to get back on it, regaining most of the weight I had lost. Thankfully, I am back on track now, but…

Wow, so inspiring! You definitely give me hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

Hey lady, your story sounds so similar to mine. This is my 3rd time on MFP and wrapping up my first full week tomorrow. I too have 200+ to lose and it is daunting. Hard not to dwell on all your past efforts and lost opportunities. Trying instead to focus on the positive changes I am making now. Feel free to add me! It is…

Relative noob here - I do 3 total body strength workouts per week. With a 30-45 sec rest between sets (usually spent changing weights or body position for the next set), I finish in around 40-45 mins. I am currently doing 3 sets of 10 for the major muscle groups (chest, back, shoulders, quads, hams and abs) and 2 sets of…

I am fairly new to strength training - i.e. not using big weights yet. But when setting up my routine, my research suggested that total body workout 3 days per week is better than split days because it enables you to hit all the muscles 3x per week. I set up 3 different total body workouts picking 1-2 exercises per muscle…

I buy the high fiber cinnamon swirl store brand at Wal-mart. I do not eat it often - usually do egg whites from breakfast - but keep a box at the office for a quick snack or small meal if needed. I find it to be very filling, especially if some fruit or nuts are added.

I started at nearly 390, lost close to 90# but then went on vacation where I opted to take a week "off" and have never quite gotten back on track. Then a series of life situations kept getting in my way - or at least I allowed them to serve as excuses. We are 2 weeks away from getting a kitchen installed in our house and…
