Good luck Phil  This is my second serious time back on here. Hopefully we can lose the weight for good this time!

Ta ChaleGirl! I'd like to put it out there that the first six days of Oct were horrible for me. But today, my first day in this challenge, has been a success so far. We had our fortnightly team meeting this morning. My wonderful manager (who is blessed with an eternally slender figure) bought the team a mix of cookies so…

Good luck!

What a wonderful idea! We ALWAYS have sugary treats at work and I'm horrible at saying no, too. I'd love to join this challenge if it isn't too late!

I'm a bit late to this party but I'm aiming for 450,000 by 31 Oct. 1 - 9,890 2 - 12,725 3 - 8,310 4 - 12,072 5 - 8,988 6 - 17,569 7 - 11,871 8 - 14,616 9 -

Sydney! PS HI (:

How exciting :D I wish I could use a sewing machine. I think I'm going to learn ... :P thanks for the inspiration!
-
Kegels are NOT safe! :P

Interested but can't commit until late October. Such a shame. I think the *team* aspect of it would be just the kick I needed !

Water and green tea :)

True story?

One of my FAVOURITE fruits. Cutting in half and scooping out the juicy insides is how I remember eating them as a kid. Still love to do that. If I've got more time, I'll chop it in half so that I can pull out the pieces, peel off the outside skin and devour!
-
Definitely. Deactivated facebook a week or so ago. In saying that, I'm on Twitter about as much as here :P

The good things about the website/program is that I think they capture the terrain too. We all know that uphills = better burn. I can totally sympathise. Until I started to be able to do these things. Now I like to push myself that little bit harder than last time/week and improve where I can. ;)

I figure you don't want to throw the treadmill out (they aren't exactly cheap)? Why don't you guys alternate between treadmill/other exercise? 5 minutes on / 5 minutes off. During your off time (the missus' on time) set up some kind of circuit for yourself. It doesn't have to have equipment. Could be as simple as pushups,…

I LOVE THAT DRESS // SHOOT! Plus, the red Converse and shirt = love! I'll be wearing red on my wedding day. No whites.
-
Maybe it's just me, but I'd be willing to spend some of my savings on making sure my body (brain included) is as healthy as possible if it ever came to that. *knocks wood*
-
That really is amazing. Congratulations on your hard work and efforts paying off!
-
Firstly, congrats! I'm not married (or engaged even) yet. So I can't really help you out. But if you're looking for something cheaper - you could always try a second hand dress place (thank you Don't Tell The Bride :P)? Just make sure that there aren't sweat stains on it (gross!)

4-5 days when I was at my peak. Recently started getting back into the swing of things so I'm exercising daily (if I skip one day, I'll want to skip two ... then three - then not exercise). Daily exercise consists of nothing too strenuous though, just 30-40 minutes on the recumbent bike (with varying resistances, on…

When I saw the name of this topic, I thought you went from being anorexic to overweight. But alas, obese to overweight is such an improvement! Congratulations :)
-
Not sure. I LOVE the taste of carby foods. Trying to reduce at the moment - but don't think I could completely cut back!
-
Me too! By the way, I'm almost 160cm (approx 5.25') and MFP tells me that I'm supposed to eat only 1200 calories per day if I want to lose <0.5kg per week. I can't do it, so I exercise to make sure I can eat enough all day to keep me full. Most days I go over (by up to a few hundred calories) but I still feel great and am…

Was really keen on reading this thread ... until I got to the third post. I actually can't bring myself to scroll down to read what happened - BECAUSE I'M TOO SCARED!

Chop it up and toss it through a salad. Makes it taste less bland.

^ What elisabat said. See a doctor about it if you feel like your brain function has f*d up since you tried to OD. As for this comment (refer below), if the doctor says you've screwed your brain up but there's treatment and you're seriously concerned - insurance probably won't matter.

Momo (Nepalese dumplings). Lucky we make them with lean meat at home! Still, the dough around the outside is an absolute killer.

Hollowed out face/cheeks. I hate this. It's going to make me look older, earlier when I actually start to age :( Protruding collarbone. Loss of my DD's (which I hated when I had ... but miss now that they're gone). Feeling the cold a LOT quicker than before. I used to be able to walk around in tees in winter. Now I wear…
