  • I am a salty lady myself, but the love for it is still the same! I would love to join you but I'm not sure what to give up yet. I honor your idea and commitment though and I pray you do well!
  • After each batch (after having this same thing happen to me) I made sure to separate the babies every time and keep them in their own "hotel" if you will or make different flavored batches all at the same time or even share if possible. I've also just pulled apart chunks of the SCOBY but I do think I ended up making it…
  • Hello all! I am beside myself to find a Christ centered group on MFP! Many of those I've befriended during my time on here are non believers and don't particularly enjoy me giving God the glory and I've noticed the same sentiment in other group/forum posts so this is a blessing for sure! I welcome any that want to befriend…
  • I use Spry gun made with Xylitol to avoid the negatives of artifical sweetness but without the carbs. It's good for your teeth apparently to, I bought it at Whole Foods, but you can get it online as well. Zevia has been my guilt free replacement of diet soda sweetened with stevia that is also yummy, even my non-dieing…
  • I love leftovers but it can be a bit boring after awhile so I've begun to try other things. Tuna salad with guacamole (1 can tuna and about 2 tablespoons of my homemade guac instead of mayo) is one my favorites, I usually use sliced cucumbers as "chips" to scoop it and it typically comes to about 2 net carbs for me.
  • I have switched to a gum called Spry (my favorite being cinnamon but the others are good too) that was sweetened with xylitol at Whole Foods for when I really crave some gum to chew on. No after taste but the flavor lasts a shorter period than most regular gums you'd find in your local corner store. I haven't noticed an…

  • @greenautumn17 @KnitOrMiss thank you for your concern but thats the exact reason I eat them as a supplement that also happens to have a nice fat profile :D I am not allergic or I def wouldn't ingest them!
  • @MamaOfTwo20 Do you have crockpot? It takes longer the 1-2 hours but the prep for it typically is under 20 min for most paleo recipes I've used my crockpot for. You can do many spice blends and proteins and get a lot of different dinners from there. I know he's technically primal by marks daily apple has a lot of options…
  • I love them but the price doesn't like me, so Brazil Nuts are the happy resolution for my household!
  • YUM! I clearly picked the wrong profession if teachers get steaks nowadays! haha
  • I am going to make the effort to get to the gym and work out at least 1 hour 3 times a week this month! Also try to keep my carbs under 20 nets carbs a day, but not to fear fiber carbs because I've noticed my body isn't happy with it!
  • Hey all! I'm Brandi and I've been following a paleo/primal lifestyle for about 3 years now and have taken an interest in LCHF after reading that it could help heal my insulin resistance from having PCOS. I am Celiac as well so it seems like a healthy way to also avoid gluten without having to read every box of food I buy…
  • without being able to see your diary i have to ask, are you getting enough healthy fats and protein? Those are the only things that will satiate, especially being low-carb. :)
  • I"ve done a modified version of it after a few wild weekends i had where i let my alcohol judgement lead me to believe i could have some carbs and not get addicted again and it worked like a charm each time. within a day or two all carb cravings were gone. I follow the Primal Blueprint diet so i made my fat fast work with…

  • sorry to hijack the OPs help but i also LOVED sushi before hand and haven't had any because i'm not eating grains of any sort, does sashimi normally come with the spicy mayo sauce you mentioned or is that just a suggestion instead of soysauce and/or tamari?
  • looks delicious!
  • you have a badass gun!
  • about the Agave, more often than not its mislabel and is cut with HFCS. I'd def suggest switching to heavy cream for coffee or even coconut milk. The apple sauce and sugar free jelly aren't the best on your body, but small steps right? Otherwise looks like you made out pretty nice today! Way to Go :D
  • just wanted to commend you on posting this i'm an advocate myself but for other autoimmune issues i've dealt with!
  • I'd say on the general whole, it's fiction. But for my experience, it served to be fact. All the changes it recommended, put me towards getting properly diagnosed as a Celiac (gluten-free) patient, to fix my PCOS issues by going low-carb outside of a few healthy fruit/veggie carbs and i found a Tabata training circuit…

  • Just because i'm aware you dont want to stall any healthy weightloss and also seek optimal health iw anted to warn you against fake sweetners: "Splenda/sucralose kills your friendly bacteria!! What this means is our immune system is compromised!!! 75% of the immune system is in your intestines and this bacteria is…
  • hey! they are an AWESOME alternative. I'm very low carb so theyre a God send for my burgers! haha Its just 3 eggs at room temp, cream cheese still cold-3oz and a pinch of cream tartar. Blend the yolks with the cream tartar until stiff peaks, blend the yolks with the cream cheese (you can add spices or sweetners depending…
  • FATS! lots of good fats, avocados, avocado oil, macadamia nuts/oil, coconut oil, evoo (cold on salads and as marinades), grassfed meats with healthy omega 3 packed fats, and protein in any shape and form (and i mean natural not so protein shake, because our body burn it faster than actually natural protein)
  • My Goal this year is to get back to homeostasis in my body. Which includes: Going VLC (under 30g is not closer to 0g of carbs a day) Order a natural source of D-chiro-Inositol supplements to increase my insulin sensitivity And hopefully with those two, get fertile and get a regular period after being on birth control for…
