This cracked me up. I just started last night and feel fine but noticed i kept putting my lunch down which is so odd because normally I’m shoving it down! If you get this let me know how you’re doing!

Thank you!

Could you be pregnant again??

I would add you but, after 2 years, I am not such a good friend anymore. I don't post much and have become quite boring. You deserve better.

You mean Kentucky Fried Chicken? if so, I would imagine that would make it tougher. Bring lunches and snacks from home and tell yourself you will not eat anything else until you get this under control. It is not easy to lose, and maintenance is no picnic either. It's a daily struggle, some days worse than others. I have…

Consider joining exercise classes you may enjoy. You may find like-minded people there who can become a great support system Personally, I love Crossfit, it's the only gym that ever worked for me and the people there are amazing Also, I have come to the realization and accept that I cannot eat what others do. I do eat…

Yes Squats!!!!!! Even air squats do a lot if done properly. Adding weight with a kettlebell or barbell...bonus. Deadlifts have also helped me with definition in my legs. I always recommend having a trainer to help with form in the beginning. Form is key. Oh, and lots of protein in your diet! Even very muscular legs have a…

I hate to sound like MFP police, but that doesn't sound like enough calories for a 31 year old man. Try putting numbers in this calculator as a double check. http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ For me, nothing cures hunger like good fats such as an avocado, butter, or protein. I could eat a lb of…

i will definitely have to try this!!

Congratulations! 100 lbs is definitely something to cheer about!! You look fantastic

Not as long as you are still under your daily calorie intake. Anyway, I try and fill my day with mostly protein and healthy fats...but I stay at a calorie deficit if I am trying to lose...

No, as long you are at a daily calorie deficit it will not matter if you eat at 8:00. It may even help eliminate a night time snack if you are used to having one!

@1Nana2many This was amazing and so nice of you to share with the OP and others. It's all about lifting people up and encouraging them and you have done that. It's never too late to lose weight and begin realizing the importance of exercise. In fact, it's more important now then ever. I am 50 and felt the same as you...why…

I have heard something like this. I heard eating protein before bed allows you to burn more than if you have a carb. I'll see if I can find an article. Also, as for how much...as long as it fits into your daily calorie goals. Don't eat a huge amount thinking it will help you lose weight.

Yeah, he's an idiot. I agree with Rainbowbow, it makes sense to start out with resistance training and proper form before you go to heavy lifting.

I have found that the more you stay away from junk food, the easier it becomes. Small steps. Eventually hopefully you will get to the point where you can enjoy it once in a while and not go crazy with it. Also, take the time to find healthier foods you enjoy...don't try and exist on celery and carrots. Yesterday I was…

this calorie counter has been pretty accurate for me. I know it scares you. But the #1 reason people fail is they try to do too much too fast. Just because you start at 1900, doesn't mean after 2 weeks you cant drop to 1800. But I am 100 % confident that you will lose...if you are measuring and logging accurately. Those…

When I put in sedentary, with a very aggressive weight loss goal I am getting 1900-2000 calories/day. Remember this is really dependent on the accuracy of your calorie counting. If you do this accurately you will lose weight eating 1900-2000 calories/day. You have to re-run your numbers as you lose weight so when you get…

can you tell me your age, height, weight and activity level? Activity level is just a guess...I put in sedentary for me since I have a desk job. If you don't want to post it, you can message me and I'll plug the numbers in. As far as liking the foods that are not good for you, you can change this but it takes time. It…

This 100% By substituting meals with spinach, frozen fruit, you will quickly develop strong cravings.(and most likely give in to them) One thing I have learned is if it is me against the cravings, the cravings always win. For me it was to eat enough of what I want but to weigh/measure it out. Eat the foods you enjoy, try…

Sandy, I am certainly no expert. I wouldn't get too hung up on it. I honestly changed my cholesterol numbers only after I lost 45 lbs. For me it wasn't so much a function of what I ate as it was the actual weight loss/exercise I began to put in.
