I have had implants for 4 years now, and 1. they do not look fake 2. they do not feel fake 3.it did not hurt alot either! Best thing I have ever done for myself after birthing 3 kids, and losing 40 lbs!

I eat 30% carbs 30% fat and 40% protein

eat something light and something that you have eaten before so that you dont upset your stomach. But for a 5K you dont need much fuel, just maybe a banana or oatmeal. Eat some protein after ur race. Good Luck!

I have done it many times and its really no big deal. It is totally worth it to have the proper shoes to run in, especially if your injury prone!!

Protein will definately not hindered your weight loss! It has been the key to me losing and keeping my weight off. I eat more protein than MFP suggest everyday for several years now and have kept my weight pretty stable!

I do both, on my long runs I do an easy pace that I can keep up for a while. But on my short distances I push myself to go as hard as I can!

before I run I always eat either banana, peanut butter, or protein bar. I always wait 1 hr after I eat before I run, if not I can feel the food sloshing around in my stomach! It makes me want to vomit! :noway: and I always eat protein within 30 mins after my run.

I am just the opposite! I love running outdoors but HATE the treadmill!! just cant do it! But I would say start a run/walk program like hal higdon and just take it one day at time! Find you a scenic route with some nice thing to destract you and before you know it you will be an outdoor nut!!

Maybe try to replace alot of your processed packaged foods with lean protein, veggies and fruit. Maybe some brown rice, potatoes for healthier carbs. what worked for me was to increase my protein and lower my carbs...but make sure my carbs come from the above foods and not crap carbs

When people pass me, it pumps me up (or maybe pisses me off) and I run faster!!:laugh: My pace is always faster during an official race, being it people that pass me or the atmosphere, Im not sure! Congrats on your race and good luck!!
