In a similar boat lost most of what I wanted but then started to snack as found it too hard to sit and eat a meal so would constantly pick. Gained about 12 kg but have just started to go the other way again. Just watching what I eat and for me beer is a BIG killer. Originally lost 68 kg.

I take time for myself, this can be a movie a tv program reading a book or just sitting on river bank.All when I should ve doing something else not for me eg chores work good luck

As a male a woman's appearance matters very little after the first few minutes. Join a club or group that has similar interests to you stop looking for a boyfriend look for friends amazing what can happen.

Feel free to add me, I'm doing a long slow recovery, had surgery just over 12 months ago and still spend 3 days a fortnight in hospital. It can be a long road to recovery. But I have accomplished everything they told me I'd never do again. Best of luck Kevin

Try a long bath, take the afternoon off and feed the birds in the park, do nothing, cook a "good" meal or snack. Just do some you time, mines music, sit on my own in the sun and listen to whatever I want

I find that walking and talk to people as you walk helps me. I find walking same place, same time every day you get to see the sane people. A little hello turns into hows your day then a conversation. I akso do coffee at the shops same time everyday then start chatting. Amazibg where it can go. Best of luck, add mw if yoyr…

I think everyone on this site wiuld have been there most more than once. I found that going for a walk helped. My down fall is beer so if I want a beer I have to walk to the bar, its not sitting in the fridge waiting. I only keep " good foods" around so if I want junk I have to walk. I weigh myself about once a week but everyday I put on clothes and if they don't fit I try harder.I find this more real as the scales are just numbers to me.

Good luck just logging your food is a great start it makes you realize what your eating . I try and do it at each meal as this scares me into eating better next time.

Hi, I've already lost around 100lbs but the last 10 to 15lbs are far harder than the first 100lb. It seems I do all the right things and loose a pound then have 1 beer and gain 3. You'd know the feeling, feel free to add me if you'd like some motivation

Hi Diana Good luck with your husband, in our house my wife and I eat two torally different diets she is basically vegan and I'm meat and seafood. It doesn't coat us any extra as I only cook a meal for one or freeze leftovers in meal sizes. Add me as a friend if you'd like some support good luck Kevin

I suffer from cancer and have been told to keep blood oxygen levels as high as possible both for health and moods. Walking is best for this and I find 10min walk in the sun sit talk to the birds and smell the roses then 10 mins home best way to start the day.

Have done this but find that mainstream medicine just give you a pill to fix everything. Ive been on chemo for 12 months plus now and by doet and nutrition have not had any side wffects from the drugs. Hi everyone just joined the group. Live in a rural setting on the outskirts of Brisbane QL Aus. Love to ride motorcycles. fish, kayak, camp, hike. How did I get fat.....don't eat the kids leftovers. Now that they're older and leaving home I need to get my life back have about 55 to 60 kg to loose 9 kg down so far.

I make vegi soup but use celery, onion and chilli to flavour, also try oysters, scallops or mussels fried ( a little olive oil) with garlic, ginger and chilli
