Delicious doughnuts from a local bakery for a class party for my 8th grade students who all passed their *very hard* standardized test for a high school credit in Earth Science! Yes, I ate one. NO REGRETS!

I'm not an avid runner...About once or twice a week, when time allows. I do races for the tshirts, really. But, here's a mix of running/30 Day Shred results... From 30 DS. I actually need to do a way updated pic. Beast mode at a Mother's Day 5K this past weekend.

I did these right after I had my baby. I lost weight, but probably because I was only eating 500 calories and I was miserable. I'm having success with what I'm doing now (tracking calories and exercising) and I don't want to kill anyone out of hunger.

I'm in!

I like Elias. We thought about naming a son Hezekiah, or Zeke for short. My husband liked it because he said we could call him "Heezy". We're going to go with my maiden name, Davis, if we ever have a boy. Congrats!

Eat more, and better quality. Little Debbie cakes and cheetos does not a good lunch make.

I don't do the meal plan, I'm just sticking with my "eat better/less" plan. Oh, and no extra workouts, either...just once a day with rest days mixed in!

This was about a week after 30DS/a week into Ripped in 30. This was starting week 4 of Ripped in 30. Please excuse the morning hair. It's good stuff! Sigh...pictures are being weird...you get the idea! Good luck!

Who cares what board it's on?? It's a terrible thing to be nit-picking about!

I have no "hide the ice cream from yourself and then be very introspective before you tear into it" advice. I was at about the same place as you before I started this (153) in February and I just stopped eating the junk. I lost a few pounds, I felt better, I looked better and then it got easier to stop eating the junk…

My husband was losing a ton of weight and it started off as me not wanting to be left in the dust. Then after losing 6 pounds or so people were telling me how awesome I looked and I felt so much better that it's become a new way of life for us. Just stick with it. It will pay off!

Pictures really helped me see a change during the shred. It's also when I lost the majority of my inches. I think I maybe lost 4 pounds during the 30 days...I actually plateaued during levels 1 and 2. It's totally worth it, though!
-
THIS. And the dirty bathroom mirrors! Yuck.

My profile pic is my before and after. It's great! Add me, if you wish!

No. Actually, for the first few days, I didn't even use weights. If you're just starting out, 3 pounds is plenty. All you need are weights and a mat/carpeted floor. She's not scary, she's actually a great instructor as far as workout DVDs go.

My husand would rather die than wear skinny jeans, but he has some slim fit Izod dress pants that look great on him! I'm all for a well-fitting pair of pants, but not looking like a poseur.

I am completely terrified of moths and large plants (like big leaves on trees, not the trees themselves, sunflowers, etc/. I also loathe butterflies with every fiber of my being. me and nature don't get along.
-
Yes, do it! My profile pic shows my results. I'm on Ripped in 30 now. Do 30DS first, though!

I'm 5'4 137lbs and just now got into a size 6 in old navy brand slim fit pants. I think they do vanity sizing a bit, but I am NOT complaining! Just be excited!
-
Ouch! Loved it, though!
-
This. I get the skinny macchiatos usually once or twice a week and I'm still losing! You don't have to give everything up forever to get fit!

BBC Radio 4 broadcast of the first episode of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. Hurrah!

I have a 2 year old who loves Hershey's kisses, but not much else. We're not done with Easter yet, and I have 3 chocolate bunnies staring at me from the counter just from my parents basket for her alone. If she doesn't show an interest by Monday, into the trash they go!

I don't really pay that number too much attention. It's some generated number based on, it appears, just that particular day. I wouldn't put too much stock in what it's telling you. It sounds like you're doing great, though!

well, I skipped from the originial post to the last page of comments and it's gone from a pretty legit concern to people fighting about cake. Anyway, I've lost 15 pounds and at first, it was hard to give up "my foods", the pizza, the chocolate, the creamy foods, the regular soda. But I've let myself keep some of those…
-
Everyone looks great! Just took new pics this morning, congrats to all!

I did 30DS before I did Ripped in 30 and I think it got me ready for Ripped in 30. I'm not sure I could be as successful at it if I hadn't done 30DS first.

Ah-ha. Touché.

We have 2 cats and 3 dogs. We also have a 2-year-old. They all get along. However, if one of my animals ever did that, they would be gone. It's a cat vs your CHILD. Get rid of it. And I agree with above posters. Don't get more animals. Once all of mine kick the bucket, we are done for a long time.

Agree with what others have to say. The inches melted off me during 30DS, the scale moved a bit, but not much. I'm doing Ripped In 30 now (just finished day 3 of level 2) and I'm not seeing the same results, but maybe it was because 30DS was my first consistent exersize in FOREVER and now my body's just used to it. My…
