This is awesome! Great progress!!!

Yeah, Wraps are always a variation on a sandwich. Sandwiches and salads are usually staple lunches. Does your husband take all of the leftovers? You could also try sharing leftovers (make a little bit more the night before if there isn't enough).

I'm also 5'4", and at a 150 lb plateau! I'm currently trying to do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred: on day 3. Feel free to add me as a friend, and we can try to work through it!

I'm on day 3 tomorrow! We can do it!!!
-
I agree with a lot of what you said! I'm going to take October on my own again also, but we can try to still be there to offer encouragement! We did really great this month! I would have finished strong, too, but I also got sick :P

First I just wanted to say we are doing fantastic team!!!! I did the bear walk only once last week, but that will hopefully change this week! I have been staying really active this week and have gone over 1000 calories burned twice. I also, although I am not posting every day, am keeping up with the daily challenges!

Oh, ok. I was a bit behind as I thought we were weighing in on Mondays also. I finished up day 3 exercises today also as I was too busy yesterday to finish up. I will weigh myself before I go to bed, but I usually weigh myself first thing in the morning so it might be off a little bit..... For this coming week, are we then…

Also finished day 2 exercises! Feeling tired! :) Also, that website is useful! But it only has week 2 exercises on it right now. Am I missing something?
-
That's ok! You can tell them you FINISHED a 5k!!! That is awesome, and as long as you do your best, that's all that should matter! :)
-
I did the pygmy challenge for today! It wasn't too bad, so I'm thinking I'll do the Bushman challenge tomorrow! :) I also did the 3 minute bear walk. Harder than it sounds! I definitely was going slower towards the end, though!!

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been absent recently, but I am ready to kick September's butt! XD
-
Wow!!! This is awesome! You did fantastic! I am totally going to finish the 30 day shred now!!!

It can definitely be difficult when you don't have the proper support system! I know that you can do it. Surgery is difficult too, but you're taking the more challenging route! It's hard to ALWAYS stay focused especially when work is not being particularly supportive. Just remember, you always have your support system…

great job!! That's a major difference! Keep it up!! :)

Is it that time of month? Have you been eating anything that tends to make you bloated?
-
I can tell a difference! It's definitely a start for you! I know that you can do it for Jamaica (depending on when that trip is), and you will look great!
-
But the question you must ask yourself: are you happy with this healthy lifestyle? I know that sometimes people are judgmental (and often don't realize that what they say is hurtful). I just wanted to let you know that I looked at your pics on your profile, and you look GORGEOUS!!! She might just be jealous that you can…

Yeah, like mentioned earlier, you could take the ingredients and make/add a recipe and then divide by how much you eat of that. I found a general bosnian white bread recipe here: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread141478/pg1 hope this helps!

By keeping it to one particular time of day/ day of the week, we aim to minimize the variations. I would not focus too much on it because it is mostly water weight and you will likely keep losing no matter what fluctuations mother nature throws at us. :) Do not become too clingy to that scale :)

I have been doing the 30 day shred, and it is fantastic!
-
That is fantastic!!! Great job!!!

It's definitely hard to see that! I know many people who eat whatever they want, but don't pack on anything. I, however, eat a 1/2 a cupcake and I blimp out! (at least that's how I feel sometimes) :) The trick I have been learning is to try not to compare to others. Realize this is going to be a long-ish journey and we…

Welcome to MFP! :) Good luck! Everyone is so helpful here!

Ha! Your post didn't include the "new" on the front page, so it looked like you said "looking for friends, but not really." I almost didn't look at the post! :) I had an ACL injury also, and I know that it can cause problems for the high-stress/high-impact exercise. Feel free to add me if you want!
-
Why are you afraid? I completely understand, I don't let my profile be public either except to friends. :) I will try to help if you friend me. :)
-
Great job!!! You have done a fantastic job!
-
You can definitely do it! It can be very very difficult as life often gets in the way. I completely understand it. I have faith that you can be strong and make it to your goal! Don't compare to others, just do the best that YOU can do! :)
-
Everyone has made great suggestions here. I had knee surgery also, and the best low-impact exercise is either biking or swimming. Swimming you can do water aerobics, just simply treading water, or laps (with a kickboard too if you want to start out easy). The other things I can think of is perhaps yoga or pilates, but they…

I love this post!!! Especially since there is even a cookie and Dove chocolate included!!! :) Thanks for sharing!

I also have that goal!! I have a total of about 40 pounds to lose, so only a little bit less than you. I am currently getting my masters, so I understand how difficult it can be (as well as how easy it should be). Feel free to add me and we can help each other keep on track! :)
