Finished week 5 day 2 this morning, I'm fixing to turn 53 and haven't run in years but this is a good program. I have found several free pod casts that I loaded and run to.

I would like to join this group if its ok. Have tried this before but the weather turned cold and icy. Wife got us (me) a treadmill for Christmas so I could get back to it. If interested there are free pod casts set to music that I have been using telling you when to walk and when to jog.

welcome aboard, you will find this a great site. I to started using this site to help track cals and to get in better shape. I walk 3 times a week 1.5 miles or 30 mins. but have also started the C25K program which is done 3 days a week, tomorrow will be w1d1. Good luck and keep the spirit.

Did not get to post for Friday, but finished W4D3 and it felt great. Weather is finally starting to break and warm up a little, its hard to get out and run when temps are in the twenty's. Try Runners World site, they have a shoe finder and a good spring review currently. I to am new to running (started the newbie training plan at Runners World) recently got the new Asics Gel Kayano 16 and they fill great.
