CF by choice, my partner has five sisters, I have two sisters, and his side are Catholic, we have 5 neices and nephews already and I am unwell and can't bear the noise/work. I'm only 23 but never wanted children my whole life... I prefer dogs, used to play with plastic dogs - not plastic babies. I'm very happy for everyone…

Also I keep my diary open to my friends so you can see it, bad or good! I do have the odd naughty day.

Mwahahaha love it, I've had to do that before...

I'm from Surrey, 5'4", nearly at goal (more or less) but have lost 42lbs since I left school 6 years ago (first started trying to lose 28lbs ago and joined mfp later after I realised I was undoing what I'd done!). Would love some English friends as well :)

I've failed. Miserably, the chocolate pro max diet bars have too strong a hold :(

Bump, great thread!

I don't know if anybody else is the same but when I ate badly (e.g under 800 cals a day, prior to the message boards educating me) i was freezing, the more i reduce my deficit/increase my calories, the warmer i get! So now I'm just toasty, I feel like my metaphorical metabolism fire is roaring!

I have a gluten intolerance and everytime I eat bread, pasta, cakes, anything with wheat flour I get super bloated and gain a few lbs of water, after a day or two after with no gluten it is all gone. My carbs are set at 50% and my tummy stays flat now just avoiding gluten :) I eat loads of potatoes, sweet potato, and…

Tortilla wraps when there is sour cream, avocado and chicken around (always have the other ingredients to make Mexican dishes) I cannot restrain myself. I'll make LOADS, pig out and deliberately have left over food which I will have to go mad with the next day too... I also have a gluten intolerance so it left me in pain…

I have promax chocolate diet bars for breakfast everyday because of the insanely high protein (20g a bar) and caffeine so I don't need a tea or coffee and can have a no cal green tea instead! They are so tasty, wish I hadn't started getting them now because nothing beats them first thing in the morning for me :)

Me too :( But congrats on the stripper boobs get_it_gone! Awesome work!

I have a lot of jealously around me. My mum is very supportive luckily, I think because she had a 26" waist at 31 after she had me (her third child)! She's happy when I have more energy, feel better, and smacks down comments from other, larger family members who make catty remarks. A certain friend HATES me anything less…

I've had c.f.s for nine and a half years now, I cut out gluten from my diet and it dramatically improves my energy levels and I find it easier to get out of bed in the morning! I spent 6 weeks in a neurology department in essex a few years ago and they advised gentle, increasing activity and good diet. They also did a lot…

I weigh every day, I like to know what foods make me retain water/gain so I can look after my tummy better! It is a bit obsessive though, fine if you don't mind the little gains and even better if you get a beaming smile for the day over little losses!
-
I'm obsessed too. On here all the time!
-
I feel for you. I hope you recover soon, I put my back out today so only had a few hours of agony, can't imagine weeks of it and then your other knee going :'( just hang in there, give your body what it needs, don't worry about losing for now if you can, you can do that when you're better x

Vodka and diet coke or malibu and diet coke, both under 60cals but apparently malibu is nutritionally worse because of its sugar content

Thanks that all sounds helpful, I like baby spinach, just usually grabbed the iceberg because its large and cheap! Will have to leave it out. Interesting that you shouldn't have it if you have ibs symptoms with other things.
-
Ah thats interesting, could be irritating my bowel then and an intolerance, also scary about the stomach stretching. I'll definately try different lettuces then and just avoid that one! Thanks everyone :)

I sympathise, are they digital? Have you tried them on a harder surface? Had a similar problem yesterday, mine were saying different weights on an even large flat tile, they're digital and 6 years old so I'm going to try another battery and if that doesn't work I'll probably head over to Amazon and buy some more.
