If you can swim competently then front crawl is great for your triceps.

I avoid this problem by not doing any cleaning

I've not seen that acronym previously, but I'm guessing from the context "nipple hard on".

If you fancy something gooey rather than a cake based product, have you tried Danone Shape Chocolate Delights? http://www.danoneshape.com/delights.html I like to freeze mine. They take longer to eat that way. I also use them unfrozen as a dip for fruit.

If only I was that restrained. When I start on a malt loaf I can't stop until it's all gone (admittedly I normally only have one after a long session of aerobic exercise).

Banana. They come complete with their own packaging too. How good is that.

I'm using the Get Running C25k app on my iPhone and as with coolrunnings it simply asks you to run for a specific period of time. So it seems to me that time must be the most important factor.

I've got this http://withandrewjohnson.com/Hypnosis-MP3/Deeper-Sleep-MP3/flypage.tpl.html as an app for my iPhone and I can recommend it. I only use it when I can't sleep (maybe once a week) and I would say 8 times out of 10 I'm asleep before the end. Hope this helps.

My exercise is mostly swimming, I train with a local club. I often find myself smiling as I swim (particularly during the warm up) just because I'm enjoying what I do. I love our Saturday morning sessions from 7.30am - 9.00am. the water is clear, the weekend is ahead, I feel invigorated, my post training treat of a…

I'd buy the cheapest one you can find and try it for a month. You'll then know how much you enjoy skipping and whether you want to continue. If you want to continue you'll also know what you want from a skipping rope that your current one doesn't offer. Also, in the unlikely event that you decide skipping is not for you…

I agree too. Activity level is about your general lifestyle. Exercise is undertaking a specific workout.
-
Totally agree Yolanda!

Congratulations on getting so close to your goal. I vote you should log it. It's part of helping you to have a better understanding of how your lifestyle choices affect your body. The information will help you with your future weight maintenance.

I had exactly the same problem when I started but I didn't want to lose much and only had the loss set at 1/2lb per week. So I stuck it out. I'm now on maintenance and get 1450 calories, which together with exercise I can handle. So for me it did get a bit better. I hope it will for you too.

I add raw veggies (carrot, celery, red onion, mushroom, pepper, cucumber, tomato) and seeds and chopped nuts for protein. Or could add flaked salmon (or other fish) for omega 3. Method: Make the cous cous Chop the other ingredients Mix Enjoy Feel good about eating healthily.

Carrots: a lot of chewing and crunching for not many calories. I get jaw ache before I've ingested 100 calories. Shape delights: 109 calories. I freeze mine, then they take ages to eat and they melt in your mouth giving you a good taste of your chosen flavour.

Love your description. I'm not trying to lose weight just eat more sensibly and healthily. But nevertheless I find the process and results of recording what I eat and the exercise I take, most helpful. Also this forum is so positive and supportive. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time with us. Good luck with your journey.

Cleaning????? What's that???? LOL

What part of joining a class specifically makes you nervous?

Very helpful. Thank you for posting this.

I'm not a doctor and I've not experienced anything like this myself. For this reason I wouldn't like to suggest what might be causing your pain. I do agree that consulting a doctor would be the best course of action. You can't beat professional advice. :)

I'm using my phone primarily to access the site. I'm not sure whether my diary is private or not.

For me I found the best thing was to say "No" in certain circumstances. When I was working I always said no to cakes and biscuits people brought in as it was too easy to eat them without really savouring them because my mind was on my work. If I'm going to indulge myself I like to make sure I take time to enjoy what I'm…

I find that training with friends helps me when I'm working at a higher intensity. On my own the temptation is to feel "it's too hard" and back off, but with friends (we all agree) that no one wants to admit to feeling "it's too hard" so we all keep going. The congratulations and high-fives at the end of a HIIT session…

I had to ask that on another thread. Non-scale victory is the answer :)

Thanks :)

Good question. I don't understand this either.

Congratulations! Awesome results.

Tonight I had couscous (just put in a dish and top with hot water) to which I added dried chillies for a bit of zing then cooked a selection of frozen vegetables (green beans, brocolli, peas and sweetcorn) and topped it with a sardine from a can of sardines in sunflower oil. I calculated my portion size which had 375g of…
