I agree with this comment! The part about getting closer to goal is dead on

Great job losing the weight!!! I don't know if you do this already but a great way to burn fat is to lift. Lift heavy to see results. Another option would be HIIT to help burn the fat. Plus diet (not in the limiting sense but the overall food sense) is important too. For body fat I agree with everyone here...…

This is how it happened to me.... They say 30ish pounds is when it is most noticed.

There is so much more to this journey than the number on the scale... Glad you are starting to "see" that! Great work!!

I do the chicken breast with a can each of petite diced tomatoes, black beans, and corn. Then I add a tablespoon of Mrs. Dash Southwest seasoning. Once it is cooked I shred it and let it sit for just a bit to let the juices soak in to the shredded parts.... then eat any way I want!! Plain, on a bun, in tacos, in burritos,…

I was thinking that was the same shirt!!!! That is awesome for you!!! I can see the change and hope that you can too

I eat around 1900 and I run (haven't in a long time though) and I lift. Just movement throughout the day is what makes me burn between 2100- 2400 according to my bodybugg

Make the "IMG" lowercase and you should be fine

I want my belly button measurement to be 33 inches or less. I am at 37.5 right now and started at a 44 inch measurement May 17, 2011

:flowerforyou: I did a pedicure after my first half marathon and it was heaven!! Mani/pedi is a great gift to yourself.

I like the crockpot as well... there are plenty of recipes that you cook 8 - 10 hours )while at work) and then you have a hot meal ready when you are home! And it is in one dish... not several that you have to wash later
-
You can use the recipe tool to make the meal and have an accurate calorie count

I weighin every Friday morning and take measurements... I log it all gain/loss in pounds or inches. Honesty has allowed me to see what works for me and doesn't when I go to my food/exercise dairy. I know why I gain and that keeps me sane

I have a simpler version of this (sorry if this has been shared already). You can add spice as you like, I like mine mild but you can do tomatoes with spices or add a can of chilis  1 can black beans (low sodium) 1 can petite dice tomatoes (no added salt) 1 can corn (no added salt) 1.5 pounds chicken breast…

I only use the bodybugg (older version of the media). I might suggest the HRM for activities the media isn't so accurate like spin/biking. But if you know that your heart rate is not accurate due to medicines then that might not work either.

I agree with the person that mentions where you start out at. If you are lower in weight it comes off slower, if you are heavier it comes off faster. Just stick with it and it will workout....
-
I have the bodybugg and that gives me a 24 hour picture of what my body burns. I know that a "normal" day without exercise gets me to burn 1800-1900 calories. If I do a weekend day where I lounge around the house I burn 1600-1700. When I workout I brun between 2200-2300. I like that the bodybugg has allowed me to…

A little about me... I am 30 with a 10 year old boy. I work full time 8- 4:30. I am a part-time student and should graduate after summer quarter. I am a runner and have completed 4 half marathons, a triathlon, and countless 5K's and 4 milers. I have lost 60 pounds since Oct 2010 and am only 5 pounds from my goal weight. I…

This is my understanding... you always have fat cells, it just matters how "big" they are. In other words it doesn't just disappear and then come back like a virus
-
I can't wait to try this since I just got my grill working!!!

I consider myself a success!!! I am 5' 3.5" and 30 years old. I realized in October of 2010 that I weighted 214 and started then... So far I have made it to 152.6 on friday when I weighed in. Here are my milestones so far. ***Mini Weight Accomplishments*** 1/26/11 = 205 pounds (MFP start) 3/02/11 = 197 pounds…

That is super progress!!!!

Look to see if the weeks you stay the same or gain are the weeks you ovulate or it is TOM. I gain a pound when I ovulate and then lose it plus more later.... just a thought. I didn't have this happen when I was heavier only really since the new year
-
I would say it takes a good month (4 weeks) at least. Let your body adjust to the new intake and realize that you won't be cutting back down anytime soon.

This is a very good way to explain the difference! :drinker:
