I use my phone for my workouts, got an iPhone? or another Smart Phone?? Ease into 5K got me running and I hated running. Now I am on the Bridge to 10k app, love it. And for strength training I use the Nike Training Club App - FREE!!! And it's awesome. Good luck!

I got a really bad one the other day, did some research online and found that I wasn't drinking enough before my workout, at least a glass of water before and I wasn't breathing properly. Once I concentrated on my breathing while I was running, went away quick. Good luck!

I don't think they give that as an option. But I guess you could always message them....

Our minds are powerful. We never really see ourselves how we really are. It's hard to look into that mirror and like what we see looking back. I am sure even the healthiest people out there, still have issues when looking into the mirror. I go by how I feel and by my clothes. If I keep seeing the changes in my clothes…

I got one person to join. She's still here and kicking butt! It's awesome motivation.

Once I started Bridge to 10K, I noticed I was getting faster, try what you feel is best.

Just run! You'll get into the swing of things as the program advances. Off days? I do strength training. That way when I run I can avoid injuries and it makes my runs easier.
-
Don't worry about your speed yet, just go at a pace that is good for you. Once you get to the end of the program you can work on your speed.

I've used the C25K app by Bluefin Software on the iPhone. Love that I can listen to Pandora and use the program at the same time. The GPS is awesome. http://www.c25kapp.com/

What's the harm in trying? If it's too much you can always repeat weeks until you're ready to move forward. I think you should go for it! Good luck!

I WISH I could forget about the number on the scale, but it's just so hard!

Works great for me! I hope you can get it working again, it's awesome.

I've had knee pain! Still dealing with it, though where is the pain, is it just your knee?? If the pain goes down into your ankle, side of your leg.. etc. That is probably your IT band. That was and sometimes still is, my issue. What I found to work is stretching. Don't stretch it out too much before your run, but after…

Invest in a HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) - be sure to research before you buy and "IS there an App for that?" I'm a tech girl and have everything on my phone, even my workouts, it's a great way to keep track of your progress.

I'm in that situation right now, we're planning on starting on baby #3 after the first of the year. I am 3 lbs away from being where I was when I got pregnant with my second and that was loosing a lot of weight after the first. I am just going to try my best and loose as much as I can before we start trying. And once…

If you are REALLY sore, and I mean can't walk cause you're so sore... take a day off. You deserve it, then get back to it!! If you're a little sore and you feel ok to workout go for it! Good luck!

When I first started the Couch to 5K, I only worked out on those 3 days, but as I got farther into the program. I was getting sore, I got a hairline fracture in my foot, then my knee... so I did some research and strength is very important if you are a runner. So 3 days I week I run, 3 days a week I do a mix of cardio and…

I have a Nordic Track and I like it, I've had it for 5 years (of course it hasn't been used that entire time) but it's still going strong.

Feel free to add me! I have two little girls ages 4 and 18 months! With the right support you can do this!

Welcome!!! You'll love MFP if you stick to it. Good luck and you can add me as a friend if you like!

DITTO - the Couch to 5k! Love that program, I am finishing it up right now and it's awesome! You definitely want to get you some fitted shoes. I started running with normal athletic shoes and my feet were killing me cause they weren't properly fitted and I got a hairline fracture in my foot. Shoes are VERY important! Don't…

Nice to know you're not alone! I have the same issues!! Does your toddler still take naps? If so, sleeping at night will come easier when that nap time goes away, at least it did for me. Although, she now has nightmares and always asks for mommy, that is if the hubby even hears her. Just do what you gotta do!! I live off…

What about inches, you could still be "loosing", but they scale isn't reflecting that. My weight loss has been slow, very slow, but I am going down in inches every week, even though the scale doesn't show that.... I think we put too much emphasis on that stupid scale, as long as your feeling great and seeing physical…
