I might get backlash for this. When I have been at my healthiest and I mean exercising and not getting sick at all for months, I was eating 1000 calories a day. Sometimes a little more if I had burned too many exercise calories. I am 4'10 and I find that if I eat more than 1200 I immediately gain weight. It is different…

I'm 4'10ish LOL My goal is 1000 calories. I went on live strong and it said I should be eating 1030. When I first started using MFP I was eating 1200 and I didn't lose weight until I dropped calories to 1000. My start weight was 117 my current weight fluctuates between 98-103. I want to get down to 95lbs. 95lbs sounds…

I want to try! :)

It all depends on your height and current weight. 1200 is actually too much for me because I'm so short.

This happens to me to from running. If I take time off from running even just days. The first couple times I run my legs and body itch like crazy. I just keep running as much as I can. After 2-4 runs it goes away. The itch seems to be below the skin. I don't know what the cause is but it drives me nuts and at least…

I don't count my job calories burned. It gives me an extra safety net.

Drink tea, drink water with lemon. Eat a piece of fruit.

Same thing is happening to me. Does anybody have any advice on how to clear up?

Essie's Ballet slippers. Perfect for work. Watermelon for vacation time.

Keep up that great attitude! Love it.

I also am looking to lose about 10. I'm looking for more friends and motivation. Good luck to all! :)
-
Okay as soon as I am done typing :) Thanks for the motivation. Feel free to friend request.

Welcome. I'm 26 also from Florida. Feel free to add me :)

I don't eat my exercise calories. It is the only way i've been able to lose weight.

Plan your meals at least in the beginning. :)

I don't usually eat my exercise calories back. If I do though I'm okay with that. It's a safety net. MFP says I should eat 1200. Other sites say I should eat 1029. I had to manually lower my goal. The only way I've been able to lose weight is by not eating back my exercise calories. This is so different for everyone. I'm…

Good Job! Keep it up :)

How tall are you? I ate 1200 from January until may and then reduced to 1000 calories because I am 4'10. Once I lowered my calories I started losing weight.

Thank you everyone. Should I stick to 1000 calories or 1200?

I've had the same type of problems. Since I was 13 and nobody seems to be able to figure out where my bloating comes from. I went to see a GI and he thought I might have IBS (which I don't really agree with) but found that I have a wheat "sensitivity." Oh and I am lactose intolerant. I stopped going to the GI. I basically…

I asked the same question yesterday. Vacation is next week. I would look up the beer your going to be drinking there or wine etc so you can keep track and plan ahead.

I hope some day I hear wow you've lost weight. I get the "are you pregnant?" all the time. Usually from strangers, woman doing my manicure etc... It makes me so sad. Especially since it has happened since I was 12!

I use running time to think and disconnect. Not focusing on running makes it easier for me. I listen to house music preferably without lyrics otherwise I start singing along and thinking about how long each song is and how much time just went by.

Wow Thanks!

$160-$360 a month for 2. We also eat at restaurants a lot probably at least once a week. Definitely the cost has gone up lately because I'm eating a lot more fruits and veggies.
