Coconut Water

Options
Hello. Recently I've been a bit obsessed with coconut water.
I've tried Vita Coco, Foco Coconut Juice, Coco King, and Goya Coconut Juice.
So which one is your favorite? And what are the benefits of coconut water?

Vita COCO hands down is my favorite. I wish it wasn't so EXPENSIVE >_>

Look into Caribbean brands like Grace and Ocho Rios if you're not drinking flavored coconut water. They're like 79 cents. We've been drinking coconut water since before it was cool. *collar pop*

mmmmmmmmm I've been drinking Grace coconut water since before I can remember... I used to strain out the coconut chunks, but am a fan of them now.... they're definitely much less expensive than those, and they come in huge cans.

I honestly have no idea what the benefits would be tho! Never checked out the nutritional info

And where do you find that? Wholefoods?

I was in a health food store picking up some quinoa,I picked up a bottle of Real Coconut water. It was absolutely awesome!

I went back and bought a case and have another one on order.

Here's the link to their website:

I tried the one without the pulp, only 50 calories per bottle and low in sugar.

I don't know where *you* would find them, but I doubt it'd be in Whole Foods. That store exists solely to rip people off.

They're in the soda and water aisle at my local grocery store. But I do live a short boat ride from the Caribbean. Like I said, look up the brands. Their websites should be able to tell you where they're sold.

    Thanks for the article.
I think Vita Coco is a bit over-rated. Just goes to show that clever advertising, endorsement, and marketing sells. It is too expensive anyway.

I read that coconut water doesn't actually have that many health benefits =/ You're better just eating a banana and a glass of water, especially how expensive it is.

I'm not sure how reputable the article is, but I now save the water for special occasions when I crave the taste =) Good luck!
