Ahh this is basically where I am. I am currently 5'10 and approximately 163 pounds. I feel heavy, I would like to get down to 140. About 5 years ago I was 120 which was too small. I am not sure how I do it. The first week or so I was just excited to become healthier. Now it has just become a habit for me to log everything. I use the App on my phone as well as the computer. Now I just want to improve. Good luck and everyone helps a lot!!! You will do great, just make it a habit.

I consider it a cheat day if I didn't work out and I splurge for a meal. I just find it hard to want to eat bad food all day after all the work I put in. I guess it all depends on what your goals are...

how did you develop that virtual model. that is really cool! Heartbreak can motivate for awhile. Its time to heal yourself and get healthy and feel better in the process. I would say this is the perfect time : ) you will then be in a habit and routine and continue long after you are all healed.

thank you so much for all the great information. I was thinking of buying the Body media CORE that they just came out with and also the display so i dont have to sync in order to see my information. I seen it online for around 230 for the whole kit. Do you think this is a good price?? Thank you again!!!!

yes this does help. I really appreciate your response. so would you suggest buying it? I am really mixed between a Heart rate monitor and Body Media. of course a HRM is little more reasonably priced but I just want something that is effective for me. Thank you !!!!

Turkey chili is sooo good and I had leftovers for a few days!! which made lunch and next days meal a no brainer!!

I believe it does, because even if you workout alot of the work you did will get eliminated by the food. If you eat fruits, veggies, etc it will help : ).. I know its hard eating better, i am just now trying really hard, its not too bad and even better when you look at how well you did in your food diary. : )

I know it may sounds crazy but I use the CamelBak Drinking bottle for my water, its 24 ounces , i drink several a day. It is amazing.

I ended up just logging it as circuit training general, until i figure out what kind of HRM to get, any suggestions on a brand. Thank you for all the help.
