I should add that I have absolutely NO problem getting pregnant now. I also have a three year old, angel babies, and am currently missing a period. Anything can happen.

Yeah I "had" PCOS too and my doc told me that I'd need help getting pregnant too. My OMG surprise baby will be 7 this year. It can't hurt to just take a test to rule it out.

Also going to say finding something you like and sticking with it. Regardless of what else I do, heavy lifting and body weight training is always a part of my routine. I also do cardio intervals on the treadmill or elliptical. No more than 30 minutes of cardio though because I get bored.

Not justifying a fad, but my grandmother has drank ACV, lemon, water, and honey every morning since I can remember (at least 20 years). It's her morning cleanse. Whether or not it works is debatable, but she'll be 85 this year and still tends to a beautiful vegetable garden and chickens.

Yes! Number six made me lol literally. My attitude was one thing that needed so much work, just in general. Yes I still have bad days, but I push through. I really enjoyed this article, and while I have gained all my weight back, I back in the gym daily and have transformed my kitchen again. I have to learn maintenance…

If your body can handle it, then I think you're fine, although, in the true nature of HIIT, you should walk longer in order to let your heart rate recover a bit....so say one minute intense, 2 minutes moderate/recovery speed. In any event, I agree with adding strength/weights to your routine as well so that you're building…

I'm sure that's where I'm headed. LOL! Although...I'm not sure if I was lazy or just afraid. I've worked out four times this week, despite having training on Tu/Th, which interfered with my workout times. I do heavy lifting with the New Rules of Lifting for Women and I all of a sudden love to jog (GASP)! On my non-lifting…

Just waiting for quitting time. LOL!

shower, lunch, and then back to work (I work out in lieu of a lunch break). I'll also have a high protein afternoon snack like greek yogurt with fresh fruit or nuts.

Pretty much! LOL! I know it's not really what you're looking for, but if you want to drink, just do what you have to do otherwise. When I do drink, it's usually pretty close to a whole bottle of wine and I still lose at least a pound.

Love this thread! I've lost 58 lbs total (new to MFP). 1. I spent the entire summer in skirts and dresses because all my work pants are hideously big. 2. I can wear spandex! 3. I have to buy new shoes because my feet have shrank. 4. I eat mostly clean without having realized that's what I was doing. 5. I'm an inspiration…

This happened to me too!!!!!

I sent you a request. I log in probably 5/7 days a week and log my food and exercise. I also chime in on message boards when I can. ETA: I'm fairly new to MFP after leaving Weight Watchers the end of last month.
-
Good job! I have a friend who's doing it with her husband.
-
That's how I log mine and then put in my actual burn from my heart rate monitor. I'm not sure how "accurate" the MFP numbers are though.

So far, I've only gone down a couple of band sizes..cup has remained a DD. I've lost 34 lbs this year I think. I'm hoping it stays that way, but I'm also still nursing my son. I'm more afraid of what lack of milk will do.

It truly took me a good 3 months almost of consistent loss to really see it for myself. At that point I had lost close to 15 pounds. One day I looked at some selfies I had taken and was like, whoa, my face is smaller...that's where I saw it most...my face, neck and collarbone area. Most people started seeing it around 10…

I wouldn't say this is better or worse. I think WW is more educational and was a great place for me to start my weight loss journey. I lost 34 pounds this year alone on WW. But sometimes tracking in general bothers me, so I didn't want to keep paying for something I wasn't using. And yeah, I do miss not having to type in…

Congratulations!!!!

LOL!!! poor guy
-
Definitely! There have been so many times that I've dragged myself to the gym feeling all halfway into it and just keep going.
-
This exactly. I used to be terrified of working out and now I feel so out of it if I don't do it. However, you absolutely have to understand, realize, and accept that losing weight and being healthy (eating well and working out) are lifestyle changes. If you're not committed to it, it will never work. If you're not…

HI there! I know my MFP ticker says I've lost 4 lbs, but it's actually 58 total (see picture). Anyway, I've not done either of those videos and I started my journey going from mostly sendentary as well, including chasing a toddler. I started out with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. It was short enough not to get me…

Never have I ever used his warm up routine from the book (although I was thinking of doing it today). I do the treadmill for 10 minutes. He does explain that the main point is to warm up your body, so I think cardio is just fine, particularly if you're biking to the gym anyway. Good for you!

Thank you for your reply. I'll have to go give the machine a real good look when I get home and take a picture. One of your pics didn't load (I'm at work so no surprise there).
-
Good luck! I absolutely love heavy lifting!
-
Ditto. It was red after me having just breakfast and a piece of fruit.

Congratulations! I love looking at success pictures. It helps keep me motivated. Keep up the good work!
