I've spent the last year losing 28 lbs at a steady rate of .5 lbs per week. It is do=able but I do find have to make sure not to slip into "just a 100 calories" over won't hurt. It might  Good luck.

Mostly same stats. I've lost almost 30 lbs and have about 12 or so more to go. Add me as a friend, I keep it as real as possible.

I feel ya on this. I started pre-logging my weekends on Friday night to the best of my knowledge. This helps me at least be on the lookout for calorie bombs that are coming my way. I also decided a while back that my weekend is Saturday only. I can "weekend" eat on Saturday but Friday night is still on program and Sunday…

Beachbody on Demand is awesome. Very affordable and tons of workouts that stream to your devices.

I am always more successful when I pre-log my food as to doing as I go along.

I love overnight oats. I haven't added nuts yet because I like to keep my breakfast cals down a bit. But I finally found the right formula and it works for me. They're convenient filling and yummy.

I had about 50 lbs to lose and set a goal of 1/2 lbs a week for year. Heading into the end of my second year and I have 12 lbs to go. So I'd say set a goal that is livable and attainable. Good luck.

Just chiming in with good luck. When you refind your "why" it will all click back in to place. Take some time to find out what was easy and what wasn't and use that knowledge going forward.

Have you thought about streaming Beachbody on Demand? It is amazing and a GREAT deal. It's 99/year for every single workout they offer. Shaun T. P90X, Bodybeast. I love it!

Good luck - sounds like you're off to a good (re)start!!

Here in the US we're celebrating Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday. Pancakes with the traditional link sausage with plenty of real maple syrup. Yummo!!!

I personally made a goal to lose 1/2 a week for a year. I succeeded (and have gone over a little since the 1 year mark). I don't believe that the all or nothing or fast results is always the best way. I know I can eat at or around my 1400 calorie plan while working out 3-4 times per week for 30-40 minutes a session and be…

I've done 1400 on average for a little over a year (with many days where I went over). I've lost 27 lbs and still was able to enjoy life and not ever feel deprived. I also don't go full scale on exercise. I try to get in 3-4 30 minutes workouts a week.

Getting suited up is half the battle!! Go get em!

I have lost exactly .5 lb a week for one year. It lliveable for me and down 26 lbs. Hooray

I enjoyed it. I liked that it was 30 minutes. I'm looking forward to the release

To give you a bit of perspective - I am 5'3" as well and on 1400 calories per day. I exercise (not strenuously) 4 times a week for 30 minutes. I have lost exactly half a pound a week for almost a year. That's about 21 lbs down...I am only offering this information so you can see how someone similar to you is doing. I am…

Some will disagree with me but I don't do "net calories" or atleast try not to. I just eat what my calorie limit is set at (atleast I try to lol).

I try to follow my week day plan for breakfast and lunch and then have my extra calories (mostly in the form of drinks) at dinner. I have figured out my daily calories in x7. Then I make an adjustment during the week so I have extra for Saturday and Sunday. I also decided a long time ago that Friday AND Sunday can't both…

Have you seen the new Red Velvet pop tarts? Haven't bought them but they've almost made it in the cart a couple times!

Not enough room for all my confessions but I'm a biter and licker too! And - I am never ever no matter what call something not made out of beef a BURGER. And I enjoy cocktails. Okay that's it.

I think we all picked it because that's what "they" tell us we should weigh. I'll be happy to get back to 150 I'm 5'3" and 47.

Just so you know, you are not alone! I feel the same way sometimes. Like clearly I didn't log right or something because I shouldn't feel so full and still have calories left. Wanted you to know that you aren't crazy :-)

I love working out at home. Cathe Friedrich is awesome. I also enjoy Kelley Coffey-Meyer because she does 30 minute workouts when I don't have time for a long workouts.
-
Today I did a 45 minute Firm workout and I'm in 100% for this challenge!!
-
I know exactly what you mean about not being able to log accurately and then just not logging it at all. Phew - there I said it. I for one will be glad when all of this is over!@!

How do I add you? I'd love to get some support on these boards!!!

I'd love to join you. I've lost almost 10 lbs since September = trying to go slow and steady. I'm 46 and ultimately would like to lose around 30 lbs. Not sure how to add friends but would love to have some buddies on here.

I'm ready! I do have a special New Year's Eve dinner planned but otherwise it is back to basics!
