Drink lots of water and move- stretch, walk, foam roll. As you keep going, your muscles will get used to is and not get so sore.

I always go with weight. But if you can't, go with 1 cup.

If you never lifted before start with dumbbells. Get form down and increase weight every time you lift. Just go in there and do your thing. No one will look at you , and if they do, so what... you are there for you and not for them.

I also think it's just water weight.

I used to go to PF for same reasons as you. The one I was going to had DBs going to 80 lbs. , no squat racks, fixed weight bars going up to 60 lbs. Lots of machines. The plus things for me-no contract and $10/mo. If you are used to heavy lifts, you may not be bale to get what you are looking for there.

You can do squats, push ups, leg lifts, lunges and more while you cook. It doesn't all have to be one big chunk of time, spread it out.

Great way to be active at work! You're doing great! My husband has PF-when he rests it's ok, if he works out, walks, it gets worse. Does the bike help with foot and ankle?
