  • Is anyone using Green Tea in their LifeStyles. My sister has substituted green tea for all her morning chocies instead of coffee and she feels better about herself. I have started also. anyone else??
  • I fell off for the summer............its hard but I did not gain any weight back. I was proud of myself for that fact, I am back on board.................glad you are too!!
  • I have been doing well with fitness pal, I have lost 23 lbs. I have not been logging my food the past week, because I have learned to count the calories and watch the fat grams and I am aware of my serving sizes. Is that okay that I don't log my food as often??

  • I have lost a total of 15 lbs on my fitness pal, my profile says 12 but I lost a couple of pounds just before I heard about MFP. Thanks sooooo much its helped me and I am still motivated, 72 lbs to go................I am overweight.
  • I drink socially but I make better choices with that too. One glass of wine , or rum and diet coke, vodka with diet lemonade............. I have enjoyed a couple of drinks at the cottage on the weekend and I am still loosing weight, just make sure you account for the calories.
  • Try using a low fat margarine like country crock, I flavour mine with my favourite spice to give it a kick..........dill, garlic or cajun, makes yummy butter for corn and you only need a 1 tsp, thats not bad

  • I use Ice cubes, low fat fruit yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit and a little juice, you can add 1 tsp splenda to sweeten it up. mix and enjoy

  • I make the same one, I add broccoli and cauliflower cut up really small, its yummy
  • I have been eating well and including some foods like a treat of frozen yogurt and having the occasional glass of wine. It has actually been easy this time, and I don't feel deprived. I also find it handy to buy the 100 cal snack paks for the easy convienence. Thanks fitness pal, I am doing great and feeling good
  • fast is not good for your body, it can put some levels out of wack, just eat healthy
  • I would only worry about the calories from the cut of beef. I use lots of veggies, potatoes , low sodium beef broth, V8 juice, garlic minced, oregano, salt and pepper. Use corn starch to thicken it. Cant go wrong with stew, anything goes.

  • I have been enjoying this program and I too think it is fun. This has been the easiest weight loss for me in my whole life and all the previous failures I have tried. I think the support has helped me the most...................get through 2 weeks and then you are on your way to a healthy life style.
  • try and buy the 100 calorie snacks, I think they have choc thin bars as well, Eat slow and enjoy. remember is Quality not Quantity. Good luck!!
  • I find working midnights tough. I want to snack on shift, thats what we do. I brought veggies, fruit, rice crisps and drank lots of water.....................grrrrrr hope I can make it through!! Does anyone have any other suggestions for some good healthy snacks??

  • you would have to check the normal range for the particular lab that tested your thyroid. The levels are different all over the states and canada. If you was in the grey area, your DR should have requested a repeat in 4-6 months.
  • Have you had your thyroid checked?? That can hinder you from dieting, its hard to fight your body if your thyroid is out of wack.

  • Is it okay to have the water with crystal light packets?? After drinking water all day, sometimes I want to add a little flavour to it!

  • I think you should stick with the calorie wise plan, I think weight loss drugs are hard on your body in the long run.

  • ?? anyones views on a air popped popcorn with 1 tbsp of butter, I have been craving it, is it okay to have it once in awhile??? I think i need a salt fix now and then.............................
  • I have Yogurt with some grape nuts or oatmeal with apple or 1/2 bagel with a piece of fruit, or try a egg with salsa in a torilla wrap.

  • I include corn with my "eating right" but I treat it as a Carb, like potatoe. If I have corn with my meal, Include another veggie like broccoli.
