I'm proud to say that I won the biggest loser contest here at work!!! Yay!! I haven't gotten the amount of the pot but I'm very proud of myself even though there were definitely not so good days :(. Anyway I weighed 263 today which was 13 lbs down from when we originally started 8 weeks ago.

Sorry I was camping the whole weekend so I didn't have time to post my last weigh in but I lost .4 which brings me to 275. Great job everyone ..

Wow .. 4 more weeks, I can't believe it. Time has gone by so fast. Great job on the losses, I'm a little disappointed at myself because I thought I was going to lose more than 1 lb but oh well there's always a next time right?

I'm a noob at running as well but I ran my first 5k in March, 3 weeks after I started my new lifestyle and my time was 45:02 so the next one I'm aiming for less time than that. I love running but I keep having to take breaks because of shin splints and that's what is slowing me down now.

That's why most of the workouts I do are on the treadmill, elliptical or stairmaster. It's easier for me to keep track of the calories I burn.

First, Happy B-day ... and I would just eat a small piece. Cut everyone else's cake then you cut yourself a very small piece just to show appreciation. That's what I woud do.
