  • 1. Eating clean and homemade! Created so much awareness of really how much and poorly I was eating before. Logging works???? 2. Lost cravings for tea, coffee and sugar-replaced with cinnamon, green tea and honey ???? 3. Great friends on MFP who share their real life daily struggles, make me laugh and keep me motivated????☺️

  • Great challenge!! SW 178 CW 170 GW (for February) 165 I'm starting a month-long trial at a boot camp gym this week so hoping to kick it up a notch!! Currently I'm doing the C25K program on my treadmill and yoga twice a week so it will be a real test! Good luck everyone! I weigh-in tomorrow:)
  • I could go with squats and lunges for sure, let's do it!!????????
  • I did W2D2 this morning. Typically I'm doing the program 3 days a week and walking on the treadmill for 2 more times/week for 30 min. Plus yoga 3-4 times/ week. Nothing too strenuous but I've never been very active. So this is already a biggie for me:) cheers!
  • Too much cardio. Too much stress. Do some yoga and relax a bit. We didn't gain the weight in a month and we're not gonna lose it in a month!! Have a look at this- http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-10114/8-reasons-why-youre-not-losing-weight.html
  • Log every bite. You will see what the pattern is. This is a good article- http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-10114/8-reasons-why-youre-not-losing-weight.html Good luck!
  • It's probably IBS but yes definitely see a dr. If you log honestly you will see what causes this the most. Try minimizing those foods on your own. A food diary is a real eye opener. Good luck! I empathize <3
  • Slim fast for a week is good to jump start weight loss but it gets old fast and you will gain the weight back as quickly once you are back to normal food:/ better to just eat smaller portions of what you eat now, then cut back on soda/juices/dessert/sugar. Might take a little longer but it's lifestyle and lifetime change…
  • I start W2D1 tomorrow. I'm doing mon/wed/fri on my home treadmill. Thank God I didn't give it away lol. First time EVER I am excited about walking or running:) we have icy cold conditions here which typically stay till April. Looking fwd to seeing how everyone is doing and their experience. Cheers!

  • I'm only on W1D2 and already excited about day 3 tomorrow lol. I don't even walk normally and running anywhere?! please!! that's why we have cars lol. but seriously, I'm doing this strictly on the treadmill until it warms up enough to go out and so far---2 thumbs way up!! nothing like a little electronic voice egging you…

  • those are some inspiring pics, I would never have that courage :) but what a change, you can really see it!! keep logging and tracking and POSTING...this stuff works!! and its a lifestyle change so it sticks!! congratulations on your weight loss and good luck with your journey!! <3
  • underwire bras don't DIG anymore! wore a pair of jeans that I haven't for at least 6 months! I can FEEL less of that dreaded 'back-fat' !! my eyes look bigger lol! cheeks are smaller! feel less puffy overall! muffin top is shrinking! just started my C25K training on the treadmill, and I DON'T RUN anywhere, and try not to…
  • This is real life good info. All the exercise fiends on here make you feel like you will get nowhere without those mega calories lost on their fancy machines. Don't be disheartened. Walking is truly the best exercise!
  • You can absolutely do this!! Try reading some articles here daily and also in increase your friend circle-introduce yourself to a few people on every article you read. The more you see on your newsfeed the more it motivates you!! Hang in there!
  • Absolutely doable!! Just keep your logging honest and if there is a caloric deficit you will lose weight. Have fun with your toddler, don't stress and enjoy every moment!! ????????
  • good luck! I also try to eat clean. its my 2nd week here and I love the community support. read articles daily, reach out to make friends, keep your logging honest...you'll get there!!
  • that's awesome! and it shows!! I thought I was eating well (healthy) until I saw really HOW well with the calorie counter lol so logging helps me and keeps me honest and accountable! I was probably eating at least twice my daily requirement. to each their own! so happy for you! it IS really about your food and exercise,…
  • listen to your body! a few days of honest logging will tell you what works for YOU! I was vegetarian for 17 years...I developed sugar cravings, was hungry all the time, ate mindlessly most of the time. I've just added back eggs and chicken and I feel better and I've weaned myself off sugar. my go-to breakfast is 2…

  • Hi from Toronto! I'm a single mom of a great 16 year old. 45. With 40 lbs to lose. Beginning arthritis in knees and elbows. Looking to get back into shape and take the stress off my knees. Also want to get into eating clean, whole foods. Love logging my calories, it's my second week here. Love the spirit and energy of the…

  • Try a minimum of 1200. 500 is too low. You are starving yourself. And also dehydration. :/
  • Yup. This too. If you use the scale at home consistently you'll know if the number changes either way. Don't be stuck on the number itself. As long as you feel the change it's all good!!
